<<One day at Mahera Zamidar's house>>
This is going to be my second post on Hive and my 1st post in @pinmapple . As I said in my introduction post, I am a photographer. I love travel photography. Although other photography is also done. A photographer doesn't stick to a particular sector, focusing on all types of photography.
I enjoy walking around and taking pictures. Because it does two things simultaneously. First of all, the mood become very fresh when traveling, secondly you can click photos while travelling. You can get great picture in a beautiful location. A few things go through a photographer's mind when traveling. That is to take several eye catching shots from there. Then keep them edited and processed. So do I.
I will now share my travel details. Also I will share my photographys.
There are many Zamidar houses in Bangladesh. They have been carrying a lot of history since many years ago. I have visited different districts of the country, which has led to the opportunity to see many Zamidar houses. Amidst all this, this zamidar house is still very modern. It has been carefully maintained.
Eye-catching Mahera Zamindar's house...
There is no king but the royal form still remains. The beauty of the palace has not diminished. Its eye catching beauty will delight you. Standing on the balcony of history, you will say wow! Should have come here a long time ago! Not only the palace, there are enough places to roam around. Very tidy environment. Undoubtedly, it is a great place for a day trip around Dhaka.
Last September 21, 2020, I visited "Mahera Zamidar Bari" located in Mirzapur, Tangail.
I couldn't handle the greed after seeing the wonderful pictures of Mahera Zamidar's house in the travel group for a long time. 3/4 days ago I said to one of my friends that let's come with a tour on this 21st of September, I was telling him if people are less then let's come with 2/3 of us. But within 3/4 days we 5 were ready to go.
Then we thought about taking a jeep! And the reflection of that thought also happened. We all hire jeeps, we hired cars from Bhairav. I am detailing the cost of travel below. We left at 5:30 am and managed to reach our destination by 11:30 through the heavy traffic. If you want to go by bus, you can go directly to Nirala from Mahakhali.
However, after buying a ticket at the gate, I walked around the pond on the left side and found the coveted landlord's house at the very end.
In fact, first of all, it should be said that the houses are extremely functional, the trainees of the local police training center are very active in maintaining these zamindar houses.
A point to be noted is that just opposite the zamindar house there is a lovely picnic spot with beautiful plants and along with it I noticed various beautiful admonitions.
Despite the surrounding countryside, here you will find forests as well as huge buildings, with a touch of modernity.
Another thing to mention is that the policemen who are training or working there are quite friendly and helpful.
So after finishing the tour from there I went to Kartia and prayed there, there is a house of Kartia zamindar but I was not allowed to enter inside.
Then we went to Atiya Jame Masjid during Asr. The craftsmanship of this mosque was so beautiful Ma Sha Allah.
The road to get there was beautiful and it was raining a lot outside, you can understand what the weather was like.
Then we left again for home.
You can enjoy some sweet food, like Porabari Chamcham, Yogurt etc.
Cost: Jeep rental 7,500/-
Zamindar Bari Entry Fee: 80/- (per person)
At noon, I ate my fill, along with tea and breakfast.
||All in all we spent 1050 rupees per person||
None of us who went knew the road. Not even the driver. I thought I could go by google map. But what happens if there is over confidence? Could not get the location in the maximum place due to net up-down in the moving car.
So if a group like us goes, your last hope is local people. We walked by the side of the road and asked the people, we reached all the right places. So wherever you go, be nice to the locals. Because they will help you the most.
The country is ours and it is our responsibility to keep the tourist areas beautiful. Do not throw garbage anywhere.
If you change, the country will also become beautiful one day.
