Hi friends wordmappin how are you. Do you still remember my story about vacationing at Suraloka Interactive Zoo yesterday?
, Okay now I will tell you again about the tour that I visited after vacationing at Suraloka Interactive Zoo yesterday, namely the Plunyon Kalikuning Bridge which is only 15 minutes from Suraluka Zoo.

The Plunyon Kalikuning Bridge is an iconic bridge that has history, besides that it also has natural beauty that is amazing because there are many shady trees, natural hills, unpolluted rivers, green grass and don't forget also because this tour is at the foot of Mount Merapi of course the main view is Mount Merapi, but friends remember to vacation here when the weather is clear so that Mount Merapi can be seen in full, because yesterday when I visited the weather was not so clear so the view of Mount Merapi was not very visible.

On this Plunyon Kalikuning bridge we can do tracking activities or just take pictures and enjoy the scenery too. Oh yes, for those who want to play in the water, as I said earlier, there is also a clear river that has not been polluted and the river water is cold and fresh because the area is in the highlands. For friends who want to relieve fatigue from the hustle and bustle of the city, I recommend friends to have a vacation here because it feels very comfortable.

A little story about the history of the Plunyon Kalikuning Bridge, this bridge was built in 1982 to 1983 by local residents who functioned as access to control river water used by local residents to irrigate rice fields. Do you know that behind the word Plunyon itself, it means Lunyu or Slippery in Javanese because the rocks there are very Slippery, but after the eruption of Mount Merapi in 2010, the geographical conditions in Plunyon Kalikuning changed because of the impact of the eruption which was so powerful, finally the slippery rocks were covered in sand and the river water which was originally yellow finally turned clear. There is one more thing that makes the Plunyon Kalikuning Bridge famous, namely because it was used as the setting for the Indonesian horror film KKN Desa Penari, so that's the short story.

Now let's discuss the entrance ticket and what facilities are available there

  1. Entrance ticket price : IDR 7,500
  2. Parking ticket IDR 2,000 motorbikes and IDR 5,000 cars
  3. The facilities at this tourist spot are also quite complete, namely toilets, places of worship, food stalls, gazebos, children's play areas, and flying foxes.
Here are the ticket prices and facilities, oh yes friends, for the food stalls themselves, they only provide a simple menu such as instant noodles, snacks and some drinks. However, in my opinion it would be better if friends bring their own supplies and cooking utensils because there are also people who bring their own supplies and camping equipment and I think it looks cool.
If friends go on vacation there, be careful because there are many wild monkeys there.
That's all for my story, thank you friends for being willing to read my story, look forward to my next story.
