Devi's Fall is one of the most visited destination in Central Nepal(Pokhara). It was originally named David's Fall. On July 30, 1961 a young lady drowned in the fall. Her father requested to keep the fall in her name. However, it later got changed to Devi's Fall.

Traditional Nepali home and Devi's Fall
The fall is around 150 m long and 30 m deep inside the ground. Its water goes to Gupteshwor cave. It' water connects with Phewa Lake and the water from here goes to Gupteshwor cave which is located at the other side of street.

As of the dry season , the water flow was very limited. I didn't spend much time here. Just a good view of Davis Fall and made my way back to the street.

Treating myself Paratha and chutney

After I made my way back, I decided to have some Paratha. There are plenty of restaurants around the arena. And, you can have cuisines of your choice.

During most of my travel , I use public vehicle. I did so in Pokhara as well. You can make your visit in local vehicle at around Rs.20.
After I visit to the fall, I made back to my hotel in Lakeside, Pokhara. Lakeside is one of the exotic travel destination of Nepal.
I would share some my travel story of Phewa Lakeside in the next blog.
Regards.
