We have a lot of trails in our area, and close by, is Wachusett Mountain.
This mountain is actually great for those that just want to take a great scenic ride to the top of a mountain instead of hiking. We didn't have much time this day, and we have 2 small kids, so it was better to drive up to the top and enjoy the view.
At the top, they have a pond with many golf fish for the kids to look at.
And the foliage was remarkable. 😁
If you are ever in central Massachusetts, i highly recommend just driving up to the top of Wachusett Mountain to take a quick view.

I think I'll drop by this weekend to see if I can go hiking with the little man there! Looks awesome. Love the goldfish at the top, that's really cool!
Worth the trip! It's such an easy drive that if you're in the area, it's crazy not to.
Yeah I've been there snowboarding and it's really not a long drive so we might just do that!
