Whale came out of the ocean but just skeleton! Second section of Natural History Museum

in Worldmappin2 months ago (edited)

Today, We were further stepping into the second floor of the Natural History Museum of Pakistan. It was like i am stuck by a tsunami of animals and species. There were so many animals, species, and creatures preserved behind the glass sheet that i was overwhelmed by looking at them. One day, in fact, a few hours weren't enough.

These two glass boxes filled with butterflies filled my imagination. I started imagining them as two pages of a book. On these two pages, joined by wood, butterflies are resting.
Whenever I see butterflies.... There is an effect/a theory pop-up in my mind. It's called "Butterfly Effect Thoery"
It goes like "if a butterfly is flapping its wings in Brazil, then it can cause a hurricane in China." Let me make it very simple for you that insignificant and minor events in one area of the world can cause a major event in the other part of the world. In short, everything is chained and connected.

I am afraid of these spiders? Are they really spiders? May be i am wrong here! I think these are bird eaters, as mentioned in their name. Interestingly, their size is more than 22 centimeters, and both of them are females. In childhood, i used to think that if Spider Bit someone, then he would be turned into Spiderman 😆.

Some more bees, insects !

Similarly, there were more and more non-ending butterflies.

The process of pollination was also demonstrated. Every other section reminded me of something else. Like pollination reminded me of pollens allergy that is very common in Islamabad.

In the next section, birds, reptiles and animals starred me. Even those animals that i never saw in my life. I am very scared of reptiles specially snakes.

Can i wander in the loneliness of desert?

Even the locals are migrating..... i think natural disaster like floods struck their area. These days, floods are alarming in Pakistan. In past three days, there are more than 350 deaths recorded due to flash floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is devastating and alarming.

That's how the earth from core and from inside.

The skeleton of Whale was waiting for you. It stood for years now. Doesn't whale want rest?

See how much happy we were after seeing a whale inside a zoo. She belongs to deep sea oceans.

Well, the next section belongs to Gem stones and minerals of Pakistan.

Here's the replica of Koh-i-noor. It's the most prestigious diamond that was mined from Andra Pradesh,India, but now it's in the crown of British Queen.

Different types of rocks and rare earth stones were kept in display. Pakistan's land is filled with resources, but there is a governance crisis. All other things are vast and massive. It is high time to reform and modify the governance.

In the last section of the gallery, Khewra Salt mine was presented. It's the second largest reserves of salt in the world. The pink salt, also labeled as Himalayan Salt, comes from here. There is always an issue with branding. It needs to be reformed.

We really enjoyed this section. You know there is still one section left !

you can read the first chapter of the museum too
