I am Tanzim Hasan Sohan. I work in a private company.Whenever I get a break, I run to my own village. The joy of living in a village is different from the joy of living in a city. The village is the heart of Bengal. A peaceful world surrounded by greenery, surrounded by nature.
Life here moves at a slow pace, with the smell of the earth, the murmur of the river, and the chirping of birds. The morning begins with the crowing of roosters and the lowing of cows and goats. The dirt road next to the rice fields, rows of coconut and betel trees, and the occasional small canal — all in all, a heavenly environment.People in the village are very close to each other. Everyone stands by each other in times of trouble. The festivals are lively - Baishakh, Pahela Falgun, Nabanna or Eid-Puja - each festival is a beautiful occasion to share with each other.Today I am coming home from vacation. I am on vacation for four days. I can't wait to visit my village. But my friend Rabbi, a childhood friend, heard about my arrival at home and came to my house with his new bike... When I sleep, he picks me up, wakes me up, and takes me to tour his village.
Today, we two friends traveled about 200 kilometers. There is a river in our village, known as Abeder Ghat. There is a platform in the middle of the river, and standing there for some time cools the body.
There were many people gathering there by afternoon. I went there and boarded a boat, sat on the deck and took many pictures.
There is a fair there and every evening people come from far and wide to see our river. When you see the scene there in the evening, your eyes are filled with joy. It fills your mind with joy.
Although I couldn't live farther away (here: Germany, Europe) we have something in common: I love livin on the countryside! Also here it is exactly as you describe it: peaceful, greenery, surrounded by nature, roosters crowing, cows mooing. I will never understand the people that trade this for loud traffic, fast life and bad smell.
This place is calm and refreshing. These photos you shares relaxes a weary mind.
The beautiful village has a very peaceful and calm atmosphere, you can enjoy it very well ❤️
This was such a heartwarming read! You painted a beautiful picture of village life-so peaceful and full of connection. I could almost hear the birds and feel the breeze at Abeder Ghat. It's amazing how childhood friendships and familiar places can bring such comfort, Thanks for sharing a glimpse of your hometown joy-sounds like a perfect way to spend your break! @tanzim29
