There is a mountain that holds the story of my entire childhood. Today, when I stand on top of it to build my house, countless memories come rushing back to me. About 15 to 20 years ago, this mountain was almost empty and peaceful. At that time, only around 500 houses stood here, surrounded by silence, fresh air, and the natural beauty that shaped the lives of everyone who lived nearby.
This mountain was my playground. I spent endless days playing cricket with my friends on the slopes and open spaces. We used to run freely, laugh loudly, and enjoy every moment without any worries. Evenings were the best—when the sky turned golden and we gathered to play kodi kodi, share stories, and explore small hidden paths around the rocks and trees.
Back then, life was simple. The mountain felt like a friend who listened to all our joys and kept all our secrets. Every corner still reminds me of the footsteps of my childhood.
But time changes everything. The same mountain that once had 500 houses now holds more than 10,000 homes. Streets, buildings, and lights have transformed it completely. Still, when I walk here, I can feel the same old wind touching my face, whispering memories from the past.
Now that I am building my own home here, I feel deeply connected to this place. It is not just land; it is the heart of my childhood, my dreams, and my journey. This mountain raised me, taught me, and gave me memories that will stay with me forever.
