Visiting The Smallest Chapel In The Philippines

Last year, in December, my friends and I decided to embark on a road trip and explore my home province, Albay. We were lucky enough to have a friend who had a car and was very generous to drive us around that time. We headed out to different places in Daraga and Legazpi City.

There were food stalls along the road en route to our destination, Of course, we were not going to pass on it and had to try it ourselves! Puto macapuno, a famous delicacy in Ligao City was the one we tried. It is made up of sticky rice and a filling of coconut meat that is well known as Macapuno.

This tastes sweet and has ube flavorings. We munched to this inside the car.

After 30 minutes, we arrived at our first destination --- Farm Plate. This place is situated in the mountain of Daraga, Albay. It
is said that the place can cater to weddings, company events, camping activities, and many other things. There are also food stalls located near the pathways.

Blurry photo! Hahaha. We were greeted by their cute entrance where we registered and paid our entrance fee. As far as I can remember it was around 80 pesos each for the adults and cheaper for kids.

Every visitor is being stamped after paying the entrance fee.

Since it was the Christmas season when we went there, the decorations were in theme for the holidays.

The place looks nice. It feels so cozy and the air is so refreshing to breathe. There were also food stalls that cater different foods and the bonus was there was a musician that time playing in front of the barn.

This is how the barn looks at night. At that time. there were only minimal visitors so we got to enjoy walking around the area that time. After we ate and chilled, we wandered more at the place and saw a tunnel leading to the chapel.

I hope I didn't feed your imaginations that much that you guys thought it was a Japanese tunnel. Hahaha! This is actually a vineyard tunnel, at that time they placed Christmas lights on it making it lit during nighttime. This tunnel leads to two different places, the pet cemetery and the chapel. Since it was nighttime already, we just opted to visit the chapel.

I was fascinated to know that the smallest chapel in the Philippines is located here. It is surrounded by trees and other plants. At the back of it is the pet cemetery.

What I love about this chapel is the fact that couples could actually get married here! There was also an aisle where the bride could walk to. I just love the vibes that this place was giving, very relaxed and refreshing.

After we wandered around the place, we eventually left and decided to go to our last destination, the city lights, City lights are what they call the place because it is located also up in the mountains where people can view Legazpi City from above.

I am just so blessed to have friends with whom I can actually explore places. This trip was a year-ender for us and I can't wait to explore more different places with them again,

Ganda ng place kaso the tunnel lights parang di ganun ka handa or probably how the image was taken not sure din.

How many people can accommodate the chapel?

I'm not sure kung ilan pero parang onti lang since it is just small lang talaga. Siguro 30? Hahahaha. Puwede pa namang mag lagay ng seats sa labas if ever wedding ang ganap
