About 2 weeks ago I caught a plane leaving Porto airport, operated by a Portuguese company, and well known TAP.
The trip went very well as planned, heading to Malaga with a stop in Lisbon lasting around 40 minutes.
At the airport we rented a car and headed towards the Caminhos del Rey, we had entry at 3:15 but we arrived slightly late, it was a bit of a mess because we went to the Caminhos del Rey Sul and we should have entered the North, that small mistake made us delay approximately 1 hour.
After walking for almost 1 kilometer to the entrance, showing the tickets, we were given blue helmets, asked which language we preferred and some basic safety rules.

Hace unas 2 semanas cogí un avión que salía del aeropuerto de Oporto, operado por una compañía portuguesa, la muy conocida TAP.
El viaje transcurrió muy bien según lo previsto, rumbo a Málaga con parada en Lisboa de unos 40 minutos.
En el aeropuerto alquilamos un coche y nos dirigimos hacia los Caminhos del Rey, teníamos que entrar a las 3:15 pero llegamos un poco tarde, fue un poco desordenado porque íbamos hacia los Caminhos del Rey sur y deberíamos haber entrado. hacia el norte, ese pequeño error nos hizo retrasar aproximadamente 1 hora.
Después de caminar casi 1 kilómetro hasta la entrada, mostrando los boletos, nos entregaron cascos azules, nos preguntaron qué idioma preferíamos y algunas reglas básicas de seguridad.

The trails started very calmly, after putting on our helmets, we bought 3 1.5 liter bottles of water and put them in our backpack as we had been informed that the visit would last around 4 hours and there would be around 8 KM of walking ahead. . the sun. scalding hot, approximately 25 degrees C.
We left and it didn't take long until the river and a dam appeared where the water fell approximately 30 meters deep, looking like some kind of aquatic prey and falling in a cascade.

El sendero comenzó con mucha tranquilidad, después de ponernos los cascos compramos 3 botellas de agua de 1,5 litros y las metimos en la mochila ya que nos habían informado que la visita duraría unas 4 horas y quedarían unos 8 KM de caminata por delante. . el sol. hirviendo, aproximadamente 25 grados C.
Salimos y no pasó mucho tiempo hasta que apareció el río y una presa donde el agua caía aproximadamente a 30 metros de profundidad, pareciendo una especie de presa acuática y cayendo en cascada.

After passing the turnstile, it was time to take the first photo, the memories couldn't be missed.
We ended up being a little behind the group, but then we ended up catching up.(I think they still need to train more to keep up)
I don't really like heights, but it was a truly incredible experience.
Above all, despite the height, I felt quite safe with the conditions presented, and the price paid for this unique experience was worth it.

Luego de pasar el torniquete llegó el momento de tomar la primera foto, los recuerdos no podían faltar.
Terminamos quedando un poco atrás del grupo, pero luego terminamos encontrándonos.
(Creo que todavía necesitan entrenar más para mantener el ritmo)
Realmente no me gustan las alturas, pero fue una experiencia realmente increíble.
Sobre todo, a pesar de la altura, me sentí muy seguro con las condiciones presentadas, y vale la pena el precio pagado por esta experiencia única.

-----------------I don't recommend it to people who have difficulty walking, as the trail is extensive and has many stairs to go up and down, which makes the journey and physical effort a bit difficult, but the images of the yellow stone are very different to the type of rock formation I have here. in Porto, the entire surrounding area and the altitude, very different from the trails we have here.
The running water always below us, which at certain moments widened and stopped being a small stream and became a flowing river. make a unique environment.
I also managed to spot some vultures, which are a native species of the area.
Nature really is enchanting and the photos speak for themselves.

No lo recomiendo a personas que tengan dificultades para caminar, ya que el sendero es extenso y tiene muchas escaleras para subir y bajar, lo que dificulta un poco el recorrido y el esfuerzo físico, pero las imágenes de la piedra amarilla son muy diferentes a el tipo de formación rocosa que tengo aquí en Oporto, todo el entorno y la altitud, muy diferente a los senderos que tenemos aquí.
El agua corriendo siempre debajo de nosotros, que en ciertos momentos se ensanchaba y dejaba de ser un pequeño arroyo para convertirse en un río que fluía. crear un ambiente único.
También logré avistar algunos buitres, que son una especie autóctona de la zona.
La naturaleza es realmente encantadora y las fotos hablan por sí solas.
