Feria Malaga Cartojal Party

in Pinmapple9 months ago (edited)

This weekend, still with traces of my last days of vacation, I'm sorry for my rest and tomorrow I'm back to work.

Not knowing about the existence of this party but it turned out really well, in Malaga there is a big party called Feria.
This party takes place in the heart of Málaga in August through the streets that combines flamenco (typical dance of the region), cartojal wine and bullfight, the party takes place in the recoquest of the city between Isabella and Ferdinande in 1487.

After learning about this party, I left the beach early to go home to prepare for the fireworks display, while at dinner I heard the next table talking about drones in the air.
I had already seen some videos but never live, where I live there has never been a show like that, so my expectations for that night were quite high.
Especially with drones :)

I took the train to the center of Malaga, from where I was it took about 5 minutes, so it's quite fast, another thing different from my country is that you just swipe your Multibanco card on the validator either when entering or leaving the station and it's done payment automatically, without having to pay by card.
By the way, here's a tip for anyone visiting Malaga on a next trip

A party full of color, as the locals wear very colorful and glamorous Sevillian costumes. Entry to the party literally starts off with a bang with an impressive display of fireworks and drones flying overhead.
the Passeio del Parque, a kind of marina that exists but can be seen from miles away,

I was told the best place to see it was at
muelle uno one of the terraces of a nearby hotel but it was full, they also talked about seeing the sea by catamaran, but it was 35 euros per person, as there were 4 of us, it was a little out of what we intended to spend.
We went to the marina and stayed on a hill very close to where the catamarans left.
the fireworks were at 24:00 and the drones started at 23:50, that is about 10 minutes of drone show and 20 minutes of fireworks, as the time approached the more difficult it was to arrange a good spot, it got completely full of people to see the same.
Soon after at malagueta beach
a concert by a great artist or singer from the region

The drones created several images in the air, the sky lit up with immense and beautiful images of wild animals, sponsored by S.Miguel beer and also by the English court projected by them at the end of the show
It was the first time I saw such a show and I was amazed 😆

Over the fire it was beautiful but it should be accompanied by pyrotechnic music, I think it gave it its charm, but anyway it was really worth it and next year I hope to be able to go this time not on vacation but for the party itself.

Thank you very much for reading, all images were taken with canon 2000D with 18/135 lens
