Thanh Mau Monastery, built-in 1939, is a contemplative monastery, designed in the Gothic architectural style with the main material being unpainted red brick, so it has a distinct and warm beauty.
Right from the entrance I was met with stones engraved with the image of the lord family, they look very vivid and outstanding.

The setting of the monastery is quite wild and simple.
Only from simple stones, but thanks to the skillful hands of the monks, the stones have become vivid works of art, beautifying the campus.
From ordinary stones, they are transformed into exquisitely carved artistic stone statues, creating an irresistible attraction for many fine art stone enthusiasts. People are attracted by the smoothness of each stone slab, the subtlety of each detail. The soul of the statue is shown very elaborately and meticulously. Art stone statues bring a new breath, along with traditional statues, modern statues also carry many special cultural and artistic meanings. sharp. Through those stone statues, visitors must be fascinated by the motifs on each stone.
The artisans here are not people with much experience, but monks with their hands and creativity have created stones with such meaning. Experienced monks often have high demands on their own products. They are meticulous and meticulous to every detail. Although the monastery is owned by monks, it has been transformed into a very natural and rustic place. There is a small stream flowing behind the monastery. The flowers are also well taken care of by the teachers, so the flowers bloom beautifully. I feel lucky to have visited this old monastery.
