Hiya! Thank you for sharing. I always trying to imagine what the castle looks like back on those days and lol how they keep the rooms warm at winter.

There are many castles and towers here as well in Northern Ireland but same as yours there just the ruins left. Still a piece of history standing.

Yes, heating must have been a massive problem - and where this castle is built, it is very cold. I did visit a large castle recently, think it was Alnwick, and saw a lot of fire places around. The amount of fire wood used to light all those in just the course of one day must have been colossal.
