Scenic Road Trip Da Nang- Lang Co in A Day

in Pinmapple3 years ago (edited)

Hello adventurous Souls,

If you have been viewing my posts, you will know that I am a person admiring the beauty of nature and always want to visit places with such majestic beauty. Living here in Da Nang-central of Viet Nam, I have so many options to pick a day trip from this city to some nearby provinces or just roam around here on the weekend. One of the road trip I have lately made is Da Nang-Lang Co Journey by my motobike just in a day. 🙂

To go from Da Nang to Hue city, I have to through Hai Van Pass which connect between the boundary of Da Nnag city and Thua Thien Hue province. Lang Co is about 20 kilometers away from where I'm living so riding a motorbike is the perfect vehicle for me to experience fully the pass as well as enjoy the sceneries the on the way.

Especially, Hai Van pass is one of Vietnam's historical witnesses. It said to witness many wars of feudal kings. Moreover, Hai Van pass has an important strategic position during the Vietnam War.

Hai Van is one of the most wonderful and inspiring coastal passes in the country. You can imagine that it curves along the mountain rim, standing out among the green of the mountain.Maybe when you first time go through it, you will be nervous and afraid since Hai Van is well-known as the most dangerous pass in Vietnam. Don't worry once you have conquered, you will feel overwhelmed by its natural beauty. I'm sure it will be a great experience for travel enthusiasts !!!

If you want to catch beautiful moments on the pass, I recommend going early in the morning. In the morning, the weather is more pleasant, cloudy, and foggy. It is an excellent opportunity and great spot to take pictures with clouds. Also, you will have the opportunity to watch the sunrise on the top of the gorgeous pass.

These remind me of Ha Giang

The ultimate reason is that you will have more time to explore, less evening, and hazardous return time because the road is dark. It is straightforward to find on google map and only takes about an hour to come there.

The view here is very picturesque with the bamboo boat and the sight of mountains behind.

When you reach Lang Co Hue, it turns out another charming and poetic landscapes that is just a great location for incredible photos. If you want a enjoyable and gentle destination to chill and wander alone, this is a place to visit. Here is also a peaceful fishing village, you will see the locals fishing and havesting oysters. The locals are very friendly and .There are many seafood restaurants around reasonable price & fantastic+delicous dishes (especially their fresh oysters- so yummy 😝).

Lap An lagoon (also known as An Cư Lagoon) is an 800-hectare brackish water lagoon in Hue and a part of Lăng Cô Bay, Phu Loc District, nestled between Hai Van Pass and Phu Gia Pass. Setting against the backdrop of magnificent Bach Ma mountain range and facing the beautiful Lăng Cô beach, Lập An lagoon is one of the remarkable natural landscapes in Hue, often described by travel lovers a place where mountain meets ocean.

Of course, I don't miss the chance to make a short stop at the beautiful deserted beach here. It's lovely sand and serene area. I simply enjoy the senerity and beauty the place offers.

Sunset on Cu De river while on the way back to Da Nang.

There are not many tourists there during this time. End of the trip, I get back to Da Nang at 7 pm after a long day. It's definitely a cool drive to enjoy many scenic route of Hai Van Pass and wonderful landscape of Lang Co (Hue). It's scenetic drive and worth wilded trip !!! Very much recommended to visit the place here if you travel to Central of Viet Nam.

Thanks for reading & Have a great weekend ahead ❤️
