Cau Dat Farm, Tea hill in the heart of Dalat'

in Pinmapple3 years ago

Da Lat is a name that is almost called very Hot among our young people now, the winding roads make many young souls entangled, .. Probably because Da Lat is too dreamy and has many places to visit. The interesting point makes people stick around like parting with a lover but can't forget it..

Cau Dat tea hill is one of my family's priority places when coming to Da Lat. Not because this place can take beautiful photos, but the tea hills and the scenery here make us nostalgic…
Cau Dat is about 23km from the center of Da Lat to the tea hill in the direction of Prenn pass in Cau Dat village, Xuan Truong commune. Tea hills are planted with a life expectancy of ten years or more.

I love the winding roads along with the green pine trees or the roadside, I love the birds chirping on the pine branches, the butterflies flying around the growing flowers, the fog, and the cool air. , different from Saigon where I live...If you know how to drive a motorbike, then I advise you to choose to rent a motorbike, to experience more about the road here..It seems that the tea hill welcomes guests. All year round and all seasons, whether sunny or rainy, or foggy,...Once you come to Da Lat without visiting this place, it is a pity.

That day it was a rainy day, but we still decided to go here, because we craved the feeling of sitting on a motorbike, walking around the roads, and enjoying the fresh air of Da Lat. It was cold because of the rain, and the air was cold, creating a feeling of being in winter.. haha, saying that in the south, Vietnam doesn't have winter, right? Passing each other on motorbikes through empty roads, then through pine hills, through small villages of indigenous people, we seem to experience many things, ..Near the destination is a small village, no We were well off, we saw children playing together, some barefoot, the one without a hat, they looked at us and laughed, maybe because they knew we were tourists, so they were familiar, too. It's also not strange, there are parts of the plows that are still covered with mud, the cows on the side of the road are eating grass,.. Run a little further away from the small village to the tea hill. located on the left, turn into a small alley with red basalt soil about 500m than to the parking lot for visitors.

After 1 year since the last time we visited, this time the tea hill has changed quite well, but in a much more positive way, instead of before, if it was a rainy day, I would be afraid to visit because of the mud. now the path up has been lined with plastic, along the main road to the top of the hill is also paved with cement bricks, there is a big coffee shop with red-brown color that stands out among the green of tea leaves,...The cafe The coffee "bridge farm" stands out in the middle of the tea hill, attracting all eyes... The renovated cafe is very spacious with a capacity of thousands of people, serving water and tea, there are also food and drinks. Souvenirs and special gift packages in Da Lat style here, I think it's really good because the tea hill is very large if I feel tired when visiting or it suddenly rains, maybe there is a coffee shop to visit. come in to enjoy a cup of hot tea, watch the tea hills and floating clouds,..how interesting...Now along the two sides of the main road near the door of the cafe, there are 7-10 stalls selling goods. snacks, mineral water, grilled buns, grilled corn. There are also fried fish cakes and cotton candy...So instead of before it was deserted and there were no shops, now Cau Dat is much busier,...Cau Dat is also one of the shooting locations. Beautiful photos for couples who want to take wedding photos or schoolboys who want to take year-round photos, this is a great place for photos of a lifetime, saving beautiful moments...

Every time we come to this place we usually spend a day for it, because it's worth it for us not to rush but enjoy it, sitting on the high tea hill looking at the surrounding scenery, the people harvesting tea, enjoy a cup of coffee, read a book, listen to some music, .. take it slow and enjoy the rare time spent here, compared to the city center with the fast pace of life. Here I have time to relax between peace and harmony with nature here. This is also a place where clouds can shine in the summer days of June, from about 6 am you will see clouds hovering right next to the foothills, bearing the bold Da Lat character. And watching the sunset on the tea hill is extremely romantic.

A few notes when coming here;
This is a very famous place and easy to find, the way is also very beautiful, so google it right away.
Should wear sports shoes instead of high heels to comfortably walk around the tea hill.
Skin; You can wear it as you like but need to be discreet because the air is cold and cool all year round. It is advisable to bring a few different clothes, a few different dresses to be able to change and have good photos.
Just bring money, no need to bring food and water, because here the food and drink are full, the toilet is also quite clean, with a mirror.
Admission is free, with no time limit, so you can comfortably experience this beautiful place.
Food and drink prices are quite cheap so you don't need to hesitate to try it.

Wish you have a happy and satisfied trip if you choose this place to visit.
