Radhe Radhe Everyone!
Today's blog is about my visit to Rudraprayag, which is a junction point for visiting Badrinath as well as Kedarnath. Situated near the Ghadwal Himalayan ranges in Uttarakhand this place is must-visit for all, especially for those who seek calmness and spirituality around nature.
It is a sacred place and it is a meeting point of two rivers named as Mandakini and Algananda rivers. The area is famous for Hindu temples as well as caves and it attracts tourists and pilgrims from all over the world.
Rudraprayag has a spiritual significance as it is connected with the Char Dham Yatra, which connects Kedarnath Badrinath, Gangotri as well as Yamunotri. A very famous and ancient temple of lord shiva is situated here , which attracts people and pilgrims from all over india.
I started my journey early in the morning from Chandigarh on my bike and it took me around five hours to reach there. The town is well connected by road. And the nearby city's around the town is Haridwar Dehradun and Rishikesh, which are also very famous for their religious significance and the beauty that they holds. You will see lots of travellers here, seeking experience at a place where spirituality as well as well as adventure meets together.
The river alaknanda originates from the Satopanth Glacier and the river Mandakini originated from the Chorbari Glacier , which is near Kedarnath , and they meet together at this point ,which is Rudraprayag and considered as the origin of Ganga River.
This place holds lots of spiritual significance and it is also a geographical Marvel in itself. I was sitting on my bike and watched this from a distance, I can't even explain in words how grateful I felt witnessing such thing in front of my eyes.
From here, I kept going onto rudipya Kedarnath road and after covering 12 and 13 km.I saw a beautiful temple situated near the corner of a river. I was amazed to see the beauty of temple and then I was curious and wanted to know more about it.
I came to know that this temple belong to the goddess Dhara Devi, and she is considered as a protected deity for those pilgrims travelling to kedarnath and nearby holi places.
The architecture of the temple is quite unique and it is a made in traditional gharwali style.
You guys will be amazed to know about the mystery of the temple. It is believed that the goddess Dhara Devi Body is divided into two part And the upper part is dhardevi temple and the lower part appeared at kalimat temple and nowhere she is worshipped as Maa Kali. And you can see this temple is situated under the clear It is believed that the idol of the dhara devi maa can't be kept under any roof so the portion above the idol is always kept open toward the sky. Mysterious right?Well india is full of such stories and An uttarakhand which Is known as land of god has lots of such temple with mischievous stories behind them.
I wasn't able to go there because I was in hurry. But yeah , that's all for today's blog, and I hope you Got some insights about the temple and about Uttarakhand which is unique for it's Beauty. I have taken these pictures with my Sony Camera.

Nice ride! I have seen this particular river/s in some of the vlogs I have watched. Is it true that The Beatles have been there and stayed for some sort of meditation practice?
Wow 5 hours of riding are not few hours by the way what a cool temple!!
