Well, those that like to go to the beach know that sunny weather is the best, but sometimes, we face rain and cloud weather too... But I also like it. The colors are not vivid as we like, but just being by the beach brings me peace.
One more time, buckle up, and let's get to Buzios!!!!
Buzios - Região dos Lagos - Rio de Janeiro
Buzios is a city at north from Rio de Janeiro State knows as Regiao dos Lagos. It's amazing and I prefer to visit it then go to Rio de Janeiro City.
It's a destination from a lot of cruise ships and besides almost anyone knows how to speak English, it's very visited by tourists from other countries.
After visiting Arraial do Cabo, which is nearby, we went to Buzios and spend a few days there. Was a holiday here in Brazil and it was busier than usual.

If there is something that I recommend from my tourists' friends is RUN AWAY FROM RIO DOWNTOWN, it's beautiful, but has a lot of violence and looks like everyone wants to rob you... If possible, go visit other regions like Arraial do Cabo, Buzios or any other Brazil State. We have beautiful beaches that I can bet that you will not regret visiting, much better than the famous and touristic Rio Downtown.
Arriving at Buzios
Arriving at Buzios, as I told you, the weather condition doesn't seem to be on our side, but keep faith that we will have good days, even with clouds and rain, the most important part of any trip is to have fun, especially with good companies and friends. or just alone, keep level mind that you will get your fun.
After getting everything set up in a new house, facing some rain, the next days start to clear up and the sun is shining, let's go visit some beaches nearby home and have some fun.
Our days were mostly having great conversations among friends that we didn't see each other for a long time, and this trip was all about that, reconnecting with nature and great friends.
And the sun is shining
Against weather forecast odds, we start our trip with Sun and Hot day. Let's enjoy it cause if the forecast is right, we will have a lot of cloudy and rainy days forward.
I don't know this kid, but he was playing and playing good, I used the zoom to capture this moment with an unusual scenario behind, some rocks with that formation that hold up the waves and create this hot natural pool for kids plays, swim and practice aquatic sports with no worries about current and heavy waves coming.
Above you can see the overview of this beach, it was amazing. Hot water and a lot of people enjoying the sun that come out after heavy rain.
In the next picture, I intended to show the rock formation and people learning how to practice a new sport, also you can see kids exploring the scenario and having some adventure climbing rocks and jumping into the water.
Clouds and Fog is back
Ok, good day to walk by the beach and relax a little bit, that morning for help with the hot weather. perfect for walks, exercise and sure for surfers bad weather doesn't exist, they go to water and stay there all day long no matter what.
The rest of the day was hot but rainy... so we went back home to relax a little bit but after a lot of beer and drinks, a pool party is not a bad idea. We are already wet, so let's have fun and enjoy (a little bit more) this day...
Buzios Nightlife
Buzios has a very agitated Nightlife. You will find a lot of romantic restaurants for couples, bars for singles, and clubs to dance all night long. As we had a big house and our goal was to enjoy daily life, we spent most of the night at home, playing games, preparing food, eating snacks, and having fun with friends. Also, the famous Brazilian barbecue that can't miss, with meat and vegan options, grilled vegetables is also incredible. Do you like Vegan BBQ?
Back to the beach
Another cloud day and we are back on the beach. The surprise today was this courageous soft crab that didn't seem to bother us. Usually, they don't come so close to humans, but this little guy was bored and want to interact with us. So I grab the camera and capture this moment.
See The fly I took some time to notice and after others point it out, now I see it every time. Remembers me of the Bug's Life movie and now I'm wondering what they were planning to accomplish.
When we think that the weather will turn over and the rain is going to end. we were surprised with another rainy and cloudy day, but this doesn't bother us to get into the water, cause even cloudy is hot, and let's have another amazing day.
That's what I think is perfect in nature, doesn't matter if is a clear sky or a cloudy one, the sun and nature always give us some scenarios that make us wonder... The sunshine creating this path among clouds gave me this opportunity to capture this picture that I like a lot. and you? like it?
If there is something to remember about this trip is the sunsets, Buzios gave us amazing sunsets. Can't complain more about the clouds and weather.
Walking and exploring nearby beaches, this was a very good spot to capture the moment and remember how is the view from sea to land... Friends talking, making plans, and the architecture typical of Buzios city. Houses by the beach, a lot of boats, and the sea just a few steps away.
This is the common parking lot at Buzios, some beaches have calm water that is great for anchoring your boat. It's a lot, from fisherman boats to small speed boats, looks like this city has more boats than cars.
It's easy to find someone available for a ride and take you to some exclusive beaches only with access by boat.
We rent a speed boat and went for a ride, the sea was in good condition and was very fun, one of our last days together before leaving the city. But don't worry, the next trip is right there.
Buzios Architecture
Buzios have a unique architecture, a mix of modern with beach houses, creating some awesome views. The geography makes it possible to construct houses up the hills and give that seascape overview from movies.
It is good to travel with people that like to walk, I like to explore new places and we spare a lot of our time just walking around the city and visiting places, we didn't know where we were going, but we felt safe and as its a small city, it is not easy to get lost. just follow the flow and after a while, you will be mesmerized by another beautiful place.
Sunsets
I like sunsets a lot, every day I try to enjoy the sunset no matter where I am. At Buzios, we had an awesome sunset, after spending a great day, the clouds that didn't allow us to get some tan gave us this amazing colorful scenario.
Dedicating a session for sunsets pictures, cause Buzios gave us amazing days and perfect sunsets, that time that is good to calm down our mind and appreciate for another day. I like to spare some minutes to meditate at golden hour and appreciate each sunset. trying not to overthink and just exist.
Romantic Buzios
This section I'm dedicating to all in love couples with selected pictures.
Buzios is a very romantic city, it's great for couples, that can walk by the beach, visit romantic restaurants, eat fondue, and practice sports together. You will notice many couples in love walking around the city, a great destination to renew your marriage votes and bring that adventure to the couple's routine.
After walking by the city, which is very cozy and colonial, we found this spot and I asked my friends to pose for a picture. I love silhouettes pictures and after taking some sunset pictures, I have the idea that something was missing, so let's capture a romantic moment and keep it for life. They love the photo..., and you?
Lookout overview
There are many high places to visit and appreciate the view, it's very peaceful and I bet you will enjoy spending some time looking for amazing seascapes, listening to music with nobody around and having privacy with your friends.
Time to say Goodbye
And this is how we say goodbye to Buzios. Thanks, it was amazing. Our gang reunion by the beach talking and having a great time among great friends. It will be an unforgettable trip. I'm glad to share this with you and hope you also enjoy being part of this trip.

Após algumas semanas longe de escrever, estou de volta aqui inspirado e com a minha mente limpa. Hoje quero partilhar convosco esta experiência de viagem que foi simplesmente fantástica.
Bem, aqueles que gostam de ir à praia sabem que o tempo ensolarado é o melhor, mas por vezes, também enfrentamos chuva e tempo nublado... Mas eu também gosto. As cores não são vívidas como nós gostamos, mas apenas estar junto à praia traz-me paz.
Mais uma vez, apertem os cintos, e vamos a Búzios!!!!
Buzios - Região dos Lagos - Rio de Janeiro
Búzios é uma cidade ao norte do Estado do Rio de Janeiro conhecida como Regiao dos Lagos. É espantosa e prefiro visitá-la e depois ir à cidade do Rio de Janeiro.
É um destino de muitos navios de cruzeiro e, além de quase todos saberem falar inglês, é muito visitada por turistas de outros países.
Depois de visitar Arraial do Cabo, que fica nas proximidades, fomos a Búzios e lá passámos alguns dias. Foi umas férias aqui no Brasil e foi mais movimentado do que o habitual.
Se há algo que recomendo dos amigos dos meus turistas é RUN AWAY FROM RIO DOWNTOWN, é bonito, mas tem muita violência e parece que toda a gente o quer roubar... Se possível, vá visitar outras regiões como Arraial do Cabo Búzios ou outros Estados no Brasil. Temos praias lindas que posso apostar que não se arrependerão de visitar, muito melhor do que o famoso e turístico Rio Downtown.
Chegando em Buzios
Chegando a Búzios, como vos disse, o estado do tempo não parece estar do nosso lado, mas mantenham a fé que teremos bons dias, mesmo com nuvens e chuva, a parte mais importante de qualquer viagem é divertir-se, especialmente com boas companhias e amigos. ou apenas sozinhos, mantenham a mente nivelada de que terão a vossa diversão.
Depois de ter instalado tudo numa casa nova, enfrentando alguma chuva, os próximos dias começam a clarear e o sol está a brilhar, vamos visitar algumas praias perto de casa e divertir-nos um pouco.
Os nossos dias foram, na sua maioria, ter grandes conversas entre amigos que não nos víamos há muito tempo, e esta viagem foi tudo sobre isso, reconectando com a natureza e grandes amigos.
E o sol está a brilhar
Contra todas as previsões do tempo, um dia quente com muito sol. Vamos curtir porque see a previsão acertar, vamos ter dias nublados e chuvosos pela frente.
Não conheço esta criança, mas ele estava a brincar e a jogar bem, usei o zoom para captar este momento com um cenário invulgar atrás, algumas rochas com aquela formação que seguram as ondas e criam esta piscina natural quente para crianças brincar, nadar e praticar desportos aquáticos sem se preocupar com as correntes e ondas pesadas que se aproximam.
Acima pode ver-se a vista geral desta praia, foi espantoso. Água quente e muita gente a desfrutar do sol que sai depois da chuva forte.
Na imagem seguinte, pretendia mostrar a formação rochosa e as pessoas a aprender a praticar um novo desporto, também se podem ver crianças a explorar o cenário e a ter alguma aventura a escalar rochas e a saltar para a água.
Nuvens e Nevoeiro está de volta
Ok, bom dia para caminhar pela praia e relaxar um pouco, naquela manhã para ajuda com o tempo quente. perfeito para caminhadas, exercício e seguro para os surfistas o mau tempo não existe, eles vão à água e ficam lá o dia todo, não importa o que aconteça.
O resto do dia estava quente mas chuvoso... por isso voltámos a casa para relaxar um pouco mas depois de muita cerveja e bebidas, uma festa na piscina não é uma má ideia. Já estamos molhados, por isso vamos divertir-nos e desfrutar (um pouco mais) deste dia...
Vida Noturna de Búzios
Búzios tem uma vida noturna muito agitada. Você encontrará muitos restaurantes românticos para casais, bares para solteiros e clubes para dançar a noite toda. Como tínhamos uma casa grande e nosso objetivo era aproveitar o dia a dia, passávamos a maior parte da noite em casa, jogando, preparando comida, comendo lanches e nos divertindo com os amigos. Além disso, o famoso churrasco brasileiro que não pode faltar, com opções de carnes e vegetais grelhados, também é incrível. Você gosta de Churrasco Vegano?
De volta à Praia
Mais um dia de nuvens e estamos de volta à praia. A surpresa de hoje foi este corajoso e macio caranguejo que não parecia incomodar-nos. Normalmente, não se aproximam tanto dos humanos, mas este pequenote estava aborrecido e queria interagir connosco. Por isso agarrei na câmara e captei este momento. A mosca que levei algum tempo a perceber e depois de outros a apontarem, agora vejo-a todas as vezes. Lembra-me da vida dos insectos e agora estou a imaginar o que eles estavam a planear realizar.
Quando pensamos que o tempo vai mudar e a chuva vai acabar. ficamos surpreendidos com outro dia chuvoso e nublado, mas isto não nos incomoda a entrar na água, porque até o nublado é quente e vamos ter outro dia espantoso.
É o que eu penso que é perfeito para a natureza, não importa se é um céu limpo ou nublado, o sol e a natureza dão-nos sempre alguns cenários que nos fazem pensar... O sol a criar este caminho entre as nuvens deu-me esta oportunidade de capturar esta imagem que eu gosto muito. e tu? gostas?
Se há algo a recordar sobre esta viagem são os pores-do-sol, Búzios deu-nos uns pores-do-sol surpreendentes. Não me posso queixar mais das nuvens e do tempo.
Caminhando e explorando praias próximas, este foi um bom local para capturar o momento e lembrar como é a vista do mar para terra... Amigos falando, fazendo planos, e a arquitectura típica da cidade de Búzios. Casas junto à praia, muitos barcos, e o mar a poucos passos.
Este é o parque de estacionamento comum em Búzios, algumas praias têm águas calmas que são óptimas para ancorar o barco. É muito, desde barcos de pescadores a pequenas lanchas rápidas, parece que esta cidade tem mais barcos do que carros.
É fácil encontrar alguém disponível para dar um passeio e levá-lo a algumas praias exclusivas apenas com acesso por barco.
Alugamos uma lancha e vamos dar uma volta, o mar estava em bom estado e foi muito divertido, um dos nossos últimos dias juntos antes de deixar a cidade. Mas não se preocupe, a próxima viagem é já ali.
Arquitetura de Buzios
Búzios tem uma arquitetura única, mistura do moderno com as casas de praia, criam umas vistas incríveis. A geografia possibilita a construção de casas nas colinas e dá aquele panorama da marinha dos filmes.
É bom viajar com pessoas que gostam de caminhar, gosto de explorar novos lugares e sobramos muito do nosso tempo para passear pela cidade e visitar lugares, não sabíamos para onde estávamos indo, mas nos sentimos seguros e é uma cidade pequena, não é fácil se perder. apenas siga o fluxo e depois de um tempo você ficará hipnotizado por outro belo lugar.
Pôr-do-sol
Gosto muito do pôr-do-sol, todos os dias tento apreciar o pôr-do-sol, não importa onde estou. Em Búzios, tivemos um pôr-do-sol fantástico, depois de passar um grande dia, as nuvens que não nos permitiam bronzear-nos deram-nos este cenário colorido espantoso.
Búzios Romântico
Esta seção estou dedicando a todos os casais apaixonados com fotos selecionadas.
Búzios é uma cidade muito romântica, ótima para casais, que podem passear pela praia, visitar restaurantes românticos, comer fondue e praticar esportes juntos. Você notará muitos casais apaixonados andando pela cidade, um ótimo destino para renovar os votos matrimoniais e trazer aquela aventura para a rotina do casal.
Depois de passear pela cidade, que é bem aconchegante e colonial, encontramos esse lugar e pedi para meus amigos posarem para uma foto. Adoro fotos de silhuetas e depois de tirar algumas fotos do pôr do sol, tenho a ideia de que algo estava faltando, então vamos capturar um momento romântico e guardá-lo para a vida. Eles amam a foto..., e você?
Visão geral do mirante
Há muitos lugares altos para visitar e apreciar a vista, é muito tranquilo e aposto que você vai gostar de passar algum tempo procurando paisagens marinhas incríveis, ouvindo música sem ninguém por perto e tendo privacidade com seus amigos.
