¡Saludos, queridos lectores! Quise comenzar este post con una frase que leí hace un tiempo en internet y anoté en una libreta en donde guardo mis poemas, frases u otros escrito que leo y me gustan. La playa significa mucho para mí, siento una paz enorme y conecto absolutamente con todo; el viento que acaricia mi rostro y al mismo tiempo el alma, la arena caliente en mis dedos, el olor a salitre, las olas del mar que me alcanzan, en fin, disfruto todo.
La costa aragueña está formada por playas muy hermosas y una de mis favoritas es Choroní, ya que posee rincones sencillos, pero llenos de magia, además es un pueblo limpio, su gente acoge al turista con amabilidad y la vibra es genial. También, cuenta con una lista maravillosa de playas o pequeños paraísos que recargan el alma y pueden robarnos el corazón, tales como: Ocumare, Cuyagua, Cepe, La Cienega, Chuao, Tuja, Puerto Maya y una que se suma en definitiva a mi listas de playas favoritas, la Bahía de Cata.
Greetings, dear readers! I wanted to start this post with a phrase that I read some time ago on the internet and wrote down in a notebook where I keep my poems, phrases or other writings that I read and I like. The beach means a lot to me, I feel a huge peace and I connect with absolutely everything; the wind that caresses my face and at the same time my soul, the warm sand in my fingers, the smell of saltpeter, the waves of the sea that reach me, in short, I enjoy everything.
The Arague coast is made up of very beautiful beaches and one of my favorites is Choroní, as it has simple corners, but full of magic, it is also a clean town, its people welcome tourists with kindness and the vibe is great. It also has a wonderful list of beaches or small paradises that recharge the soul and can steal our hearts, such as: Ocumare, Cuyagua, Cepe, La Cienega, Chuao, Tuja, Puerto Maya and one that definitely adds to my list of favorite beaches, Cata Bay.
Cata se ha convertido en un lugar especial para mí, ya que he compartido momentos muy bonitos con mi novio y las veces que la hemos visitado el mar está sereno, el agua cálida y el sol irradia como nunca. Sin embargo, cada vez que entro a bañarme, le pido permiso al mar por muy sereno que esté, porque le tengo mucho respeto a su energía. Como les mencioné anteriormente, visitar la playa me llena de paz, armonía y me relaja por completo, puesto que me gusta desconectarme de todo y disfrutar de esos momentos mágicos que nos brinda la vida y más, si es con una buena compañía.
Cata has become a special place for me, as I have shared beautiful moments with my boyfriend and the times we have visited the sea is serene, the water is warm and the sun radiates like never before. However, every time I go in for a swim, I ask the sea for permission, no matter how calm it is, because I have a lot of respect for its energy. As I mentioned before, visiting the beach fills me with peace, harmony and relaxes me completely, since I like to disconnect from everything and enjoy those magical moments that life gives us and more, if it is with a good company.
En esta oportunidad fui con mi novio y su familia que vino de Punto Fijo a pasar unos días, de verdad que el día estuvo súper chévere y el ambiente estaba tranquilo. Subiendo a Cata, hicimos una parada en La Trilla, para comernos unas ricas empanadas de cazón, pollo y mechada, lo único malo fue que un tío de mi novio le dió alergia la empanada de cazón, pero por suerte una de sus primas tenía antialérgico que le ayudó a aliviar la reacción y gracias a Dios, no fue tan fuerte jeje.
This time I went with my boyfriend and his family who came from Punto Fijo to spend a few days, the day was really cool and the atmosphere was calm. Going up to Cata, we made a stop at La Trilla, to eat some delicious empanadas of dogfish, chicken and mechada, the only bad thing was that an uncle of my boyfriend gave him an allergy to the dogfish empanada, but luckily one of his cousins had anti-allergic that helped him to relieve the reaction and thank God, it was not so strong hehe.
Una de las cosas maravillosas que tiene esta playa es que los turistas podemos bañarnos en un río que se une con el mar y el agua es divina. A pesar de que no soy amante a los ríos, disfruto mucho de este espacio cada vez que voy.
De regreso a Maracay, hicimos una parada nuevamente en La Trilla para estar un rato en el río, pero en esta ocasión, no quise entrar al agua porque estaba demasiado fría y, admito que no me gusta el agua así, le huyo jaja. Mientras todos se bañaban, a mí los zancudos me comieron y como soy alérgica, pues las picadas se me pusieron horribles y por suerte la prima de mi novio contaba con suficientes antialérgicos jejeje.
One of the wonderful things about this beach is that tourists can swim in a river that joins the sea and the water is divine. Even though I am not a river lover, I enjoy this place every time I go there.
On the way back to Maracay, we stopped again at La Trilla to spend some time in the river, but this time, I didn't want to go in the water because it was too cold and, I admit I don't like water like that, I run away from it haha. While everyone was bathing, the mosquitoes ate me and since I am allergic, the bites were horrible and luckily my boyfriend's cousin had enough anti-allergies hehehehe.

Como bajamos ya casi de noche, el clima estaba divino y en la vía hicimos una parada para tomar fotografías en la carretera y luego en el mirador en donde se puede observar gran parte de la ciudad de Maracay. De verdad que la vista es hermosa y con el clima frío, la neblina y la brisa que había, fue el cierre perfecto de este lindo viaje.
Agradezco a Dios y al universo por brindarme un fin de semana lleno de amor, compartir familiar, paisajes hermosos y renovación de energías para iniciar nuevamente con mi rutina de la universidad.
As we came down almost at night, the weather was divine and on the way we stopped to take pictures on the road and then at the viewpoint where you can see much of the city of Maracay. The view is really beautiful and with the cold weather, the fog and the breeze, it was the perfect end to this beautiful trip.
I thank God and the universe for giving me a weekend full of love, family sharing, beautiful landscapes and renewal of energy to start again with my university routine.
Tenemos un país hermoso y que a pesar de las dificultades que podamos pasar, somos reconocidos por ser personas felices, vencedores de adversidades y amables. Somos muchos los que hacemos el bien dentro de nuestro país y más allá de nuestras fronteras, así que los invito a que cuando vayamos a disfrutar de todos estos lugares tan bonitos que nos ofrece nuestra linda Venezuela, seamos conscientes y cuidémosla, respetémosla y amémosla, así como también si te encuentras en otra latitud del mundo, cuídalo, respétalo y ámalo simplemente por ser parte de este planeta que es nuestro gran hogar.

We have a beautiful country and despite the difficulties we may have, we are known for being happy people, winners of adversity and kind.
