Which part of Bodrum have you been to? Gümbet? I don't see the famous city center and the Castle of Bodrum.
Also, didn't you stop by any of them; Köyceĝiz, Dalaman, Marmaris, Gökova, Akyaka, Datça before arriving Bodrum?

And we really didn't walk in the center, because there was a thunderstorm!
Is the center of the old town really so unique?
I mean the street where there are many stores from food to souvenir and which leads to marina and castle.
