What’s up, hive travel community! How are you guys doing? Hope you’re doing the greatest. So, I am here again ready to unravel to you once again the beauty of the Philippines! This trip happened last year in the middle of the year, it was when my family on my father's side decided to have a 3 days and 2 nights trip in Ilocos Region, the Ilocos Norte and the Ilocos Sur.

These two provinces are known for their rich culture, history and heritage sites as they are called the “heritage haven in the far north” in the Philippines.

The first tourist spot we visited was the Pagudpud beach. Pagudpud is a town located at the Ilocos Norte. It is also known as the “Boracay of the North'', and it has so much more to offer, the coconut trees that are all around the place makes the beach so refreshing just for sightseeing. Pagudpud's Bangui Bay also features a windmill and it can be seen on the way to Pagudpud beach. It also has the most overwhelming amazing beach view I've been. So, if you're considering visiting Ilocos, here's one of a must visit place I recommend!

This Ilocos Norte’s Bangui Wind Farm offers stunning views, and amazing insight into sustainable energy. I also learned that windmills help the locals in many ways.

The next day and next destination was in Ferdinand Marcos Presidential Center. The museum was the ancestral home of Ferdinand Marcos. It has many interesting things and memories of the family. You can even learn something that can make you change your mind about this family. This museum is well put together. Well worth a visit especially when you are into historical places.

And lastly, the Calle Crisologo in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur! ✨

How can someone go in Ilocos without visiting the ever famous “kalye” or street in the Philippines, the Calle Crisologo! Based on my research it is said that Calle Crisologo is one of the most beautiful streets in the Philippines. In this tourist spot, you can see different historical and preserved centuries-old stoned houses as you wander the heritage place that dates back to the Spanish colonial era. You can also enjoy yourself in souvenir shopping. The stores include delicacies and native food products, accessories and many more. You can also ride a kalesa , which is the only used vehicle in Calle Crisologo. I personally really find the place so beautiful and has this homies vibes even I can't explain why. I’ve been there once but it felt like I’m home, especially when seeing the old houses that resemble my grandparents' house, maybe that's one reason why. It was nostalgic but a very good feeling to feel once in a while.

And that ends our unforgettable experience in Ilocos Region. It was an 10/10 overall experience! Surely, I will soon come back to these beautiful places.

Thanks for getting this far, hive travel friends! Hope you did also enjoy this blog of mine, see you on my next travel journey, you guys! Lovelots!<3
