Built my first snowman!
I’d seen snow before - on TV screens, and in pictures, but, W-O-W… i was never expecting this.
Standing there, flakes melting on my palms, hearing the crunch beneath my feet, I felt it. My first “real” winter.
Coming from the Southern Hemisphere- this was gold!
Cold fingers led me to a café, where I discovered chestnut soup - warm, velvety, like autumn in a bowl. W-H-A-T!!!! One spoonful and I was hooked.
Then, Bahnhofstrasse. Lights draping like glowing icicles, that led me staright to the magical Christmas tree - towering, dazzling, pure magic.
Snow, soup, and Swiss charm - I came for winter, but I left with memories that would never melt.
