🥇 Japanese Garden: a piece of Asia in Chile [ENG | ESP] by @cristiancaicedo

One thing that capitals or large cities in almost any country have is that the more people live there and the larger they are, the greater the diversity in ages, origins, professions, cultures, and pasts, and that enriches life together. That's something I like about Santiago de Chile: one can find representation from different religions, cultures, or countries, have Indian food for lunch, visit the Thai embassy, attend a German concert, walk down Paris Street, or see a Polish film series. That has been—for me—another way of traveling the world: letting the world come to me and taking advantage of these spaces. And while Santiago has corners that celebrate the land of the rising sun and there are a couple of gardens, restaurants, the embassy, etc., it was in La Serena, Coquimbo Region, where I found the most beautiful Japanese garden in Chile and one of the most beautiful outside of Japan. I've always felt that Europe calls to me more strongly, but exploring the Asian continent also appeals to me. In the case of Japan, more than its technological avant-garde and the metropolis of Tokyo, what draws my attention is its more rural side, its temples, villages, small towns, and its nature. That's why I'm so drawn to gardens that evoke the landscapes of those lands on the other side of the world.

🥈 The Historical Osaka Castle, Osaka - Japan by @viviehardika

Speaking of Japan, the first city I set foot in was Osaka. It was randomly chosen when I was searching for cheaper flights, and flights from Osaka were more affordable than those to Tokyo, so I willingly went to Osaka first.

Hmm… This might sound like a repeat. I may have already written about how I arrived in Osaka last year—maybe, but this time I don't want to talk about the behind-the-scenes story. Instead, I want to take you to Osaka Castle, a historic landmark in Osaka.

🥉 Wat Langkhadum, Sangkhopat, and Ancient Klong Alignment - Ayutthaya, Thailand by @aswita

I am still in Ayutthaya, right in the historical area where the Siam kingdom once stood. Here, I can see so many things that i have never seen before. The remains of a once glorious kingdom, now all that remains is history.

However, there's so much history that can only be told without a shred of evidence. But not in Ayutthaya. Everything is still there and very clear, even though now they're just ruins, even if they're just buildings that were severely damaged by an earthquake and can't be renovated.

The natural landscape garden in this wonderful Chilean city is a place to see. Which creates a beautiful atmosphere above all. Also, it is a wonderful place to enjoy the wonderful Osaka Castle in Japan. Where beautiful ancient houses with natural decoration are located.
