However, yesterday morning, while scrolling through TikTok, I found out that new murals were being painted in La Asunción. From what I saw in the video, they were still in progress, but it made me really want to go see how they were coming along. So in the afternoon, I went with my boyfriend and his friend to take a walk through the beautiful streets of La Asunción, since they were also curious to check them out.

🥈 Playuela Cay, Morrocoy National Park, Venezuela by @jesuslnrs
Happy start to the week for all Hive travelers! Today I want to share a very special post with you. A few days ago, I discovered a true tropical paradise located in Morrocoy National Park in Venezuela, an area full of beautiful islands known as cays, with crystal clear waters and white sands. These photographs are specifically of Playuela Cay, a perfect place to relax located about 15 minutes by boat from the coast of Tucacas, Falcón State, with calm waters and lots of rocks near the shore where you can snorkel and marvel at the local wildlife.

🥉 Baphuon Temple - A Temple With a Reclining Buddha by @aswita
In front of me, there a large temple: Baphuon Temple. It's known for its reclining Buddha, and is built in the Khmer architectural style. Originally dedicate to the Hindu god Shiva, this temple has modified to accommodate Buddhism. An addition to Baphuon Temple, a reclining Buddha statue was added during the Ayutthaya period in Angkor. This temple, to me, resemble a royal palace, a legacy of the past. Its size and architecture are so luxurious for that era.
