From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I knew it was going to be a unique experience. This historic, 20th-century building, located on the edge of the Habana Vieja municipality, which was once the city's first shopping center, was restored in 2017 with great care to become one of the most luxurious hotels in Havana.

Going up to the terrace was an exciting experience in itself. The glass elevator took us straight to the rooftop, where we were greeted by a panoramic view of the city that took my breath away.

From here you can see some of the most emblematic buildings of the city.

One of the most impressive is the National Capitol, located right in the historic center of the city. This majestic building was built in 1929 and is considered one of the most important architectural works in the country. With its dome of more than 90 meters high.

Another building that stands out on the horizon from the terrace is the Gran Teatro Alicia Alonso, named after the famous Cuban dancer. This theater, inaugurated in 1838, is one of the most important in all of Latin America and is famous for its impressive neo-baroque architecture. With its ornate façade and lavish interior, the Grand Theatre is a must-see for those interested in culture and the arts.

You can also appreciate the National Museum of Fine Arts, which houses one of the largest collections of paintings and sculptures in Latin America and is the largest in the insular Caribbean. The building, inaugurated in 1913, is an example of modern Cuban architecture and is famous for its impressive collection of Cuban and universal art.

Another building that can be seen is the iconic Payret Cinema. This cinema, opened in 1877, is one of the oldest in the city and is famous for its architecture. Although the cinema is currently closed, its façade and canopy continue to be an important symbol of the history of cinema in Havana.

Being here also allowed me to disconnect from the noise and hustle and bustle of the city being in perfect calm, while you relax in an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, along with this there are comfortable sofas and sun loungers where you can sit and enjoy the breathtaking views while having a good cocktail.

The bar offers a wide selection of drinks, from classic Cuban mojitos to more innovative cocktails. In addition, the hotel waiters are always willing to recommend a drink according to your tastes and preferences.
