I think you should do it. It's an awesome experience. It's okay if I can't dive again because I already experienced it. Just do it once and if you don't like it, at least you know what it's like for you.

Yea, I missed the opportunity to do it at Subic Bay, went snorkeling instead on Grande Island. Love that place.
