Este es mi primer post en esta comunidad y quiero compartir esta experiencia compartida con mi amiga y su pequeño el día domingo en el parque zoológico Bararida ubicado en la ciudad de Barquisimeto, antes solo lo había visitado una sola vez hace más de 5 años atrás, normalmente me abstengo de este tipo de parques porque no me gusta ver animales en jaulas, pero esta fue una petición especial de mi amiga para que compartir con él pequeño Christopher así que no pude negarme y por fortuna el día estuvo muy lindo y compartimos lindos momentos mientras el niño veía animales nuevos y paseábamos por todo el parque, la luz natural del lugar me dio la oportunidad de tomar lindas fotos, las cuales serán las que este compartiendo con ustedes el día de hoy.

This is my first post in this carefully and I want to share this experience shared with my friend and her little boy on Sunday at the Bararida Zoo located in the city of Barquisimeto, before I had only visited it once more than 5 years ago, normally I abstain from this type of parks because I do not like to see animals in cages, but this was a special request from my friend to share with little Christopher so I could not refuse and fortunately the day was very nice and we shared beautiful moments while the child saw new animals and we walked around the park, the natural light of the place gave me the opportunity to take nice pictures, which will be the ones I'm sharing with you today.
Esta es mi amiga Oscarly y su niño de 8 años Christopher, desde hace algunos días ella está de vuelta en el país y hemos aprovechado el tiempo para vernos luego de la larga separación, es por ello que esta vez decidimos un lugar donde pudiésemos caminar y tener una experiencia diferente y ver algunos animales y que sería la primera vez del pequeño Christopher
This is my friend Oscarly and her 8 years old boy Christopher, since a few days ago she is back in the country and we have taken advantage of the time to see each other after the long separation, that is why this time we decided a place where we could walk and have a different experience and see some animals and it would be the first time for little Christopher.
Obviamente además de caminar y ver animales aprovechamos para tomar bonitas fotografías para el recuerdo ya que la iluminación y el escenario eran perfectos para obtener muy bonitas fotografías.
Obviously, in addition to walking and seeing animals, we took the opportunity to take beautiful pictures for the memory, since the lighting and the scenery were perfect to get very nice pictures.
Me divertí tanto en mi visita, que olvidé los sentimientos tristes que me suelen invadir al ver animales encerrados, también ver la cara de felicidad de este pequeño niño de risitos me lleno de satisfacción.
I had so much fun during my visit, that I forgot the sad feelings that usually invade me when I see animals locked up, also seeing the happy face of this little boy with giggles filled me with satisfaction.
Los paseos por los senderos rodeados de árboles fueron muy relajantes además que tuvimos mucho tiempo para conversar.
The walks along the trails surrounded by trees were very relaxing and we had plenty of time to talk.
Y aunque ciertamente muchos de los hábitats estaban vacíos logramos ver varias variedades de simios, loros, pericos y guacamayos, también vimos un tigre y un jaguar, búfalos y muchos otros animales de granja, cóndores y capibaras.
And while certainly many of the habitats were empty we managed to see several varieties of apes, parrots, parakeets and macaws, we also saw a tiger and a jaguar, buffalo and many other farm animals, condors and capybaras.
Además de la experiencia de ver los animales el parque cuenta con los paseos en barcos de pedal en el lago, en el que dimos una vuelta aunque en principio fue complicado adaptarnos al timón que gira al lado contrario de donde se vire la palanca nos divertimos un montón e incluso Chris tuvo la oportunidad de usar el timón durante un buen rato del viaje mientras Oscarly y yo pedaleabamos.
In addition to the experience of seeing the animals, the park has pedal boat rides on the lake, in which we took a ride, although at first it was complicated to adapt to the rudder that rotates on the opposite side of where the lever turns, we had a lot of fun and Chris even had the opportunity to use the rudder for a good part of the trip while Oscarly and I pedaled.
Otra de las actividades del parque es el paseo en tirolesa, al cual luego de incentivarlo a superar su miedo decidió que se atrevería a dar el salto, asi que luego de pagar y hacer nuestra respectiva fila logró subirse y fue muy divertido verlo atravesar el lago sujeto de los arneses y el también se divirtió mucho y fue muy valiente durante todo el proceso.
Another of the park's activities is the zip line ride, which after encouraging him to overcome his fear he decided to dare to take the jump, so after paying and making our respective line he managed to get on and it was fun to watch him cross the lake attached to the harnesses and he also had a lot of fun and was very brave throughout the process.
Y ese fue en general nuestro paseo de domingo, y nos divertimos muchísimo recorriendo todo el parque hasta casi las 5 de la tarde la hora en que ya nos dijeron que era hora de cerrar el parque, habían mucho visitantes en el parque y es una visita muy recomendada para pasar un día extraordinario.
And that was in general our Sunday walk, and we had a great time touring the park until almost 5 pm when we were told it was time to close the park, there were many visitors in the park and it is a highly recommended visit to spend an extraordinary day.
