At the moment I am inside Lahore Fort. And as soon as you enter the Lahore Fort through the Bridge Gate. So you enter a new world. And this beautiful fort made of red stones is telling different stories.
If we stand to the right from the entrance of this fort and look at the front, we will see a beautiful road leading to the heights. This road leads to Sheesh Mahal and Sheesh Mahal is also an important place of this fort. Besides, there are weapons and artillery in this fort. I will write in full details in the next post.
At that time we turn left from the entrance gate of the fort. This is the path by which powerful animals like elephants used to enter this fort.
The picture above is of the entrance gate. And the path on the right goes up the elephant stairs to the top of the fort. And the road on the left leads to the artillery and the soldiers' quarters and the guest house.
And the four pictures below are made from the entrance gate. And when you look up, you see a magical scene.
There is also a small courtyard near the entrance.
This fort is a chapter of history. And the style of construction of this fort also shows the skill of the experts and engineers of that time. Parts of this fort are closed due to covid-19. But I traveled to the fort before the second lock down and the second wave, the sole purpose of which is to highlight the beauty of this fort on the hive blockchain.

it is pure elephant stairs this point lead to elephant stairs.
These are the elephant stairs. These are the stairs that elephants used to go up. The stairs of these stairs are many times bigger than the feet of an elephant. And at one time many elephants used to go up to the fort through these stairs.
On these elephants, kings, princes and princesses of the time used to go out for walks and in this way elephants were also used for carrying goods.
And I have read in the history books that the stones used in the construction of the elephant fort were also used to carry it to the heights. And the elephants used to enter the fort using the same steps.
These stairs are so strong that elephants can still ride on them.
It is a beautiful historical scene which shows that there were no modern facilities at that time. But this fort was built.

اس وقت میں لاہور قلعے کے اندر ہوں۔ اور جیسے ہی آپ برج گیٹ سے ہوتے ہوئے لاہور قلعہ میں داخل ہوں۔ تو آپ ایک نئی دنیا میں داخل ہوں گے۔ اور سرخ پتھروں سے بنا یہ خوبصورت قلعہ مختلف کہانیاں سنا رہا ہے۔
اگر ہم اس قلعے کے دروازے سے دائیں طرف کھڑے ہو کر سامنے کی طرف دیکھیں تو ہمیں ایک خوبصورت سڑک نظر آئے گی جو بلندیوں کی طرف جاتا ہے۔ یہ سڑک شیش محل کی طرف جاتا ہے اور شیش محل بھی اس قلعے کا ایک اہم مقام ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ اس قلعے میں اسلحہ اور توپ خانہ بھی موجود ہے۔ اگلی پوسٹ میں پوری تفصیل سے لکھوں گا۔
اس وقت ہم قلعے کے داخلی دروازے سے بائیں مڑ گئے۔ یہ وہ راستہ ہے جس کے ذریعے ہاتھی جیسے طاقتور جانور اس قلعے میں داخل ہوتے تھے۔
مندرجہ بالا تصویر داخلی دروازے کی ہے۔ اور دائیں طرف کا راستہ ہاتھی کی سیڑھیوں سے قلعہ کی چوٹی تک جاتا ہے۔ اور بائیں طرف کی سڑک توپ خانوں اور سپاہیوں کے کوارٹرز اور گیسٹ ہاؤس کی طرف جاتی ہے۔
اور نیچے دی گئی چار تصاویر داخلی دروازے سے بنی ہیں۔ اور جب آپ نگاہ اٹھاتے ہیں تو آپ کو ایک جادوئی منظر نظر آتا ہے۔
دروازے کے قریب ایک چھوٹا صحن بھی ہے۔
یہ قلعہ تاریخ کا ایک باب ہے۔ اور اس قلعے کی تعمیر کا انداز بھی اس وقت کے ماہرین اور انجینئروں کی مہارت کو ظاہر کرتا ہے۔ اس قلعے کے حصے کوویڈ 19 کے سبب بند ہیں۔ لیکن میں نے دوسری لاک ڈاؤن اور دوسری لہر سے پہلے قلعے کا سفر کیا ، جس کا واحد مقصد چھتے کے بلاکچین پر اس قلعے کی خوبصورتی کو اجاگر کرنا ہے۔
اور پاکستان کے کونے کونے کو فروغ دیں

یہ ہاتھی کی سیڑھیاں ہیں۔ یہ وہ سیڑھیاں ہیں جہاں ہاتھی اوپر جاتے تھے۔ ان سیڑھیوں کی سیڑھیاں ہاتھی کے پاؤں سے کئی گنا بڑی ہیں۔ اور ایک زمانے میں بہت سے ہاتھی ان سیڑھیوں سے قلعہ تک جاتے تھے۔
ان ہاتھیوں پر ، اس وقت کے بادشاہ ، شہزادے اور شہزادے سیر کے لئے نکلتے تھے اور اس طرح ہاتھیوں کو سامان لے جانے کے لئے بھی استعمال کیا جاتا تھا۔
اور میں نے تاریخ کی کتابوں میں پڑھا ہے کہ ہاتھی قلعے کی تعمیر میں جو پتھر استعمال ہوتے تھے وہ اسے اونچائی تک لے جانے کے لئے بھی استعمال ہوتا تھا۔ اور ہاتھی اسی قدموں کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے قلعے میں داخل ہوتے تھے۔
یہ سیڑھیاں اتنی مضبوط ہیں کہ ہاتھی ان پر سواری کر سکتے ہیں۔
یہ ایک خوبصورت تاریخی منظر ہے جو ظاہر کرتا ہے کہ اس وقت جدید سہولیات موجود نہیں تھیں۔ لیکن یہ قلعہ بنایا گیا تھا۔
آپ میری سیلفی دیکھ سکتے ہیں اور میری پیٹھ کو دوبارہ دیکھ سکتے ہیں یہ ہاتھی کی سیڑھیاں ہیں۔ یہ وہ سیڑھیاں ہیں جہاں ہاتھی اوپر جاتے تھے۔ لہذا یہ ہاتھی سیڑھیاں بہت مضبوط ہیں لہذا آپ دیکھ سکتے ہیں ، لہذا یہ حکومت پاکستان ، اس قلعوں کو اصل حالت میں دوبارہ تعمیر کررہی ہے ، لیکن آپ دیکھ سکتے ہیں کہ یہ تاریخی ورثہ تباہ ہورہا ہے ، اب حکومت پاکستان اس ورثے کی حفاظت کے لئے کوشاں ہے۔ لہذا بین الاقوامی اور قومی ، مقامی ماہر اپنے اصل قلعے کو لانے کے لئے بنارہے ہیں جو تعمیر کے وقت تھا۔
