Идею поехать в лес мы вынашивали уже давно. Зимой в городе скучно и нам всем хотелось на природу. Мы боялись лишь того, что там окажется слишком много снега, но к счастью, мы ошибались.
We have been hatching the idea of going to the forest for a long time. In winter, the city is boring and we all wanted to go to nature. We were only afraid that there would be too much snow, but fortunately, we were wrong.
На машинах мы без проблем добрались до нашей знакомой поляны, где часто проводим время в разное время года. Снег оказался очень плотным и даже колёса машины почти не проваливались в нём.
By car, we got to our familiar clearing without any problems, where we often spend time at different times of the year. The snow turned out to be very dense and even the wheels of the car almost did not sink into it.
По традиции, соблюдая все правила безопасности, мы распалили небольшой костёр. Теперь можно было согреться, сидя на имеющихся на поляне скамейках и попить чаю из термоса.
By tradition, observing all safety rules, we lit a small fire. Now it was possible to warm up sitting on the benches available in the clearing and drink tea from a thermos.
На столике мы разложили наши припасы, и пока взрослые готовили жареную на костре рыбу, дети с радостью играли в догонялки и прятки. Даже я немного поиграл с ними и спрятался так ,что меня никто не нашёл!
We laid out our supplies on the table, and while the adults were cooking fish fried on the fire, the children were happy to play catch-up and hide-and-seek. Even I played with them a little and hid so that no one found me!
Рыба, поджаренная на костре обладает изумительным вкусом! А еда на открытом воздухе - самая вкусная. Да, сейчас в лесу ещё не так хорошо, как в мае, но мы обязательно приедем сюда чуть позже, когда станет теплее и не будет снега.
Fish fried on a fire has an amazing taste! And outdoor food is the most delicious. Yes, it's not as good in the forest now as it was in May, but we will definitely come here a little later, when it gets warmer and there will be no snow.
I have not tried cooking fish on fire so far, but we often cooked bacon on fire, and it is very delicious with bread and with vegetables. I very rarely eat fish, because nowadays it is very expensive in my country (Hungary), but I know that it is a very healthy food.
