Hello friends! Today I will continue my virtual tour of Sanremo, but now I propose to look at this beautiful Italian city in the light of day.
Here, as in Bordighera, and almost all along the coast, there are few large buildings. Most of the buildings are quite old and filled with historical beauty. There are not as many cars on the streets as in Milan or Rome, but there are many motorcyclists who drive here fast enough, although every driver is ready to give way to a pedestrian crossing the street.
Our friend Franco told us about the invasion of Sarcines that the city experienced in the Middle Ages. There is even a dilapidated tower, which was built by the conquerors at one time, and there is a memorial plaque with an ancient map of the city.
There are many churches in different quarters. They are all neat and beautiful inside. Usually there are a lot of visitors on weekends, but on normal weekdays few people go to church. I had the opportunity to take some pictures inside the church interiors, but I didn't find those photos, maybe I'll post them later.
We spent a great day in this nice town, and returned home to Bordighera by trolleybus late in the evening. Next time I'll tell you more about Bordighera. We spent a lot of time there and I have accumulated a lot of photos of different genres.
Привет друзья! Сегодня я продолжу виртуальную экскурсию по Сан-Ремо, но теперь предлагаю посмотреть на это прекрасный итальянский город при свете дня.
Здесь, как и в Бордигере, да и почти на всём побережье, мало крупных зданий. Большинство из построек довольно старинные и наполнены исторической красотой. На улицах не так много машин, как в Милане или Риме, но есть множество мотоциклистов, которые ездят тут достаточно быстро, хотя каждый водитель готов уступить место пешеходу, переходящему улицу.
Наш друг Франко рассказал нам про нашествие сарцинов, которые город пережил в средние века. Тут даже осталась полуразрушенная башня, которые в своё время построили завоеватели и есть памятная доска с древней картой города.
В разных кварталах есть много церквей. Все они аккуратные и красивые внутри. Обычно здесь много посетителей в выходные дни, но в обычные будни в церковь ходит мало народу. У меня была возможность сделать несколько снимков внутри церковных интерьеров, но я не нашёл те фотографии, возможно выложу их позже.
Мы провели отличный день в этом славном городке, а возвращались домой в Бордигеру на троллейбусе поздно вечером. В следующий раз я расскажу больше про Бордигеру. Там мы пробыли много времени и у меня накопилось множество фотографий разного жанра.
