Hello everybody! Today I would like to continue the story of our journey through the suburbs of St. Petersburg. Last time we visited Sergievka Park near Peterhof. Today we will walk from Sergeevka to the railway station, from where we then got home.
It is very beautiful here in August. It's not autumn yet, but the lighting is incredibly beautiful around, and the photos convey this perfectly. After leaving the lawn near the Leuchtenberg estate and skirting the path past the Emperor's Own country house, we passed the old concrete building and approached a small but very beautiful church.
ONLINE REFERENCE: The stone Trinity Church in the Baroque style with one multifaceted dome was built to the west of the Emperor's Own country house in 1858-1860, designed by A.I. Stackenschneider. The church is included in the List of objects of historical and cultural heritage of federal (all-Russian) significance.
I wanted to stay longer near the church and make some close-ups of the architectural elements that make up the facade of the temple. As a big fan of different building styles, I looked at the columns, capitals and Baroque elements with delight and awe.
It's about two or three kilometers from here to the station. My daughter and I were not very tired and the way to the place did not seem tedious to us, because there are a lot of greenery in the park, and while we were walking, we were surrounded by extremely picturesque places. Even residential complexes and private houses here fit so beautifully into the area that I even became a little jealous of those who live here.
Tomorrow we will go to St. Petersburg, to its very center. We will walk through the streets of the city and I will tell you about those houses and streets that I have never visited yet. And that's it for today!
Привет всем! Сегодня я бы хотел продолжить рассказ о нашем путешествии по пригородам Петербурга. В прошлый раз мы посетили парк Сергиевка недалеко от Петергофа. Сегодня мы пешком прогуляемся от Сергеевки до железнодорожной станции, откуда потом мы и добрались до дому.
В августе здесь очень красиво. Это ещё не осень, но вокруг невероятно красивое освещение, и фотографии это отлично передают. Покинув лужайку возле усадьбы Лейхтенбергских и обогнув дорожку мимо Собственной дачи Императора мы миновали старый кхонный корпус и подошли к небольшой, но очень красивой церкви.
СПРАВКА ИЗ СЕТИ: Каменная Троицкая церковь в стиле барокко с одним многогранным куполом была построена к западу от Собственной дачи Императора в 1858 - 1860 годах по проекту А.И. Штакеншнейдера. Церковь входит в Перечень объектов исторического и культурного наследия федерального (общероссийского) значения.
Мне захотелось подольше задержаться возле церкви и сделать несколько крупных планов тех архитектурных элементов, из которых сосавлен фасад храма. Как большой любитель разных строительных стилей, я с восторгом и трепетом рассматривал колонны, капители и элементы барокко.
Отсюда до станции примерно два-три километра. Мы с дочкой не сильно устали и путь до места не показался нам утомительным, ведь вокруг в парке много зелени, да и пока мы шли, нас окружали крайне живописные места. Здесь даже жилые комплексы и частные дома настолько красиво вписываются в местность, что мне даже стало немного завидно там, кто живёт тут.
Завтра мы отправимся в Петербург, в самый его центр. Мы прогуляемся по улицам города и я расскажу о тех домах и улицах, на которых пока ещё ни разу не бывал. А на сегодня у меня всё!
