After looking at the Agate Rooms enough, we found ourselves in a small garden at the very top of the Cameron Galleries. We've been here before, but I still took some pictures of the colonnade and the vaulted ceiling when leaving the building. It is very cozy here and it becomes clear why the Empress loved this place.
Then our way lay to the park, and since we had carefully explored everything here a few days earlier, we decided to go to the Hermitage pavilion, where we were not allowed last time because some historical film was being shot there.
HELP FROM THE NETWORK: Empress Elizabeth, the daughter of Peter the Great, after she took the throne, ordered the establishment of a regular park in Tsarskoye Selo. To do this, it was ordered to cut down a Wild grove planted twenty years ago. The arrangement of the park was handled by Elizabeth Lambert's gardener. Similar pavilions, whose name means "hermit's hut" in French, were widely used in regular gardens of the XVIII century. They were intended for recreation and dinners of the owner of the estate in a narrow circle of the elite and were placed in the wild part of the park.
Although this place is quite secluded, there are quite a lot of tourists here, apparently we are not the only ones who decided to carefully study this place. There is a small moat or bypass canal around the building, neatly laid with stones. An elegant bridge leads to the entrance, which is the only passage to the pavilion.
We couldn't get inside. Perhaps this is also somehow connected with the filming of the film, or maybe tourists are never allowed there at all. In general, we just wandered around and admired the exterior facades of the building.
Next time I'll tell you about Oranienbaum Park. It was there that we went in search of adventures the next day. There will be a lot of interesting things there, so stay in touch and keep following my publications)
Вдоволь насмотревшись на Агатовые комнаты, мы очутились в небольшом садике на самом верху Камероновых галерей. Здесь мы уже бывали раньше, но я всё равно сделал несколько снимков колоннады и сводчатого потолка при выходе из здания. Здесь очень уютно и становится понятно, почему Императрица любила это место.
Далее наш путь пролегал в парк, и так как мы несколькими днями ранее всё здесь внимательно исследовали, мы решили отправиться к павильону «Эрмитаж», куда в прошлый раз нас не пустили, потому что там шли съёмки какого-то исторического фильма.
СПРАВКА ИЗ СЕТИ: Императрица Елизавета, дочь Петра Великого, после того как заняла престол, приказала разбить регулярный парк в Царском Селе. Для этого было приказано вырубить Дикую рощу, посаженную двадцать лет тому назад. Устроением парка занимался садовник Елизаветы Ламберт. Подобные павильоны, название которых по-французски означает «хижина отшельника», получили широкое распространение в регулярных садах XVIII века. Они предназначались для отдыха и обедов владельца усадьбы в узком кругу избранных и помещались в дикой части парка.
Хотя это место достаточно уединённое, здесь довольно много туристов, видимо не мы одни решили внимательно изучить это место. Вокруг здания небольшой ров или обводной канал, аккуратно уложенный камнями. Ко фходу ведёт изящный мостик, который является единственным проходом к павильону.
Внутрь нам попасть не удалось. Возможно это тоже как-то связано со съёмками фильма, а может туда вообще никогда не пускают туристов. В общем мы лишь побродили вокруг и полюбовались внешними фасадами здания.
