RE: Let's travel together #225 - Babele de la Ulmet (The Living Stones from Ulmet)

in Worldmappin3 years ago (edited)

Wow! What a trip you had Gabriella!

First of all, I just gotta say this: You remind me a lot of Alloy from the Horizon video game franchise! And the fact that you love travelling and exploring makes y'all the more similar😂.

Secondly, you won me over completely with that dog story. My goodness! How adorable! Who wouldn't want a dog for a tour guide?

Thirdly, those Trovants you spoke of, are incredible! And though I didn't quite find the whole concept funny as you had implied, I still am however, star struck to the fact that those stones can actually grow over time! Insane.

Finally, regarding the Babele de la Ulmet(lol, trying saying that 3 times), I think I can see why the legend goes the way it does. I mean, those rocks look so damn mystical! Must've been very incredible for you to witness it in real life I'm sure.

Great post Gabby(mind if I call you that). I'll certainly join you on your next travels!

P.S: If those Living stones really can provide solace then... I'm for sure moving to Buzau next year.

Wow, that's a really long comment! So let's answer to this, step by step ☺️

I heard of the Horizon franchise but never tried it out so I have no idea who Alloy is but thank you for the kind words 😁

As for the dog story.. we sort of make a friend like that one in most of our journeys. Not for a few times we found a dog that looked so happy meeting tourists and it was always by our side along the trip. Of course, his efforts were always well rewarded at the end but it's incredible how cute these animals are. Such a pure soul! ❤️

I used the word of "funny" because while some people strengthen the whole story of how the trovants appeared with lots of legends, at the opposite pole there are the others who don't believe a word, even if the whole thing can be proven by science. But it's not funny for me either... I'd rather call it a bliss to see another rare and great treasure offered by nature 😃

Thank you for stopping by and taking so much time to read everything written above (I know this post is quite long, so I definitely appreciate your time), and no doubt the world would be a little bit happier if more people would live so close to those trovants, haha

P.S: Many people both from here and real life call me Gabby, so I'm really fine with that 😁

Hah! It was quite a long post and I did have a lot to say. Horizon is pretty awesome game though, you should check it out when you can.

Indeed, a very pure Soul. He was probably the real hero of the story here.

Even if I don't end up moving to Buzau for real, I'll at least love to spend at least a month there on like Vacay and exploring the land and of course, the living stones.

Awesome then, see ya later Gabby.

I actually googled the game right after I've replied to your comment and it does look great! Thank you for recommending it :)

And yeah, absolutely. Every place has its own hero and the dog was the one for the trovants, ha! Have a great day!
