Hola a toda la colmena de Hive<3
Sinceramente, fue a partir de los 17 años que me convertí en adulta. Recuerdo que tuve por primera vez mi primer empleo (trabajaba en una sastrería) para poder ayudarme en mis estudios universitarios. Sentía que ya era hora de madurar y comenzar a crecer como una persona repleta de responsabilidades de las cuales debía saber sobrellevar adecuadamente.
To tell you a little about my journey. Of my childhood I can say that it was one of the best stages of life, so, I would have loved to stay there, or rather to have enjoyed more of my moments as a child; everything was perfect, I did not worry about: what to eat, or what to do to support myself; of course behind everything were my beautiful parents giving their best to support me and my five siblings.
Para comentarles un poco sobre mi recorrido. De mi niñez puedo decir que fue una de las mejores etapas de la vida, por lo que, me hubiese encantado quedarme ahí, o mejor dicho haber disfrutado más de mis momentos de niña; todo era perfecto, no me preocupaba por: ¿qué comer?, o ¿qué hacer para mantenerme?; claro detrás de todo estaban mis hermosos padres dando lo mejor para poder sostenernos a mí y a mis cinco hermanos.

Everything was really perfect, the only thing I thought about was studying or having fun at home with my little shop games, my traditional games from my hometown. Then, in the blink of an eye, I realized that my childhood had gone by very quickly.
De verdad todo era perfecto, lo único que pensaba era en estudiar o divertirme en casa con mis juegos de tienditas, mis juegos tradicionales de mi pueblo. Ya luego, en un abrir y cerrar de ojos me di cuenta que mi etapa de niñez había pasado muy rápido.
I began to notice my changes, both physically and mentally. When I started high school (12 years old), I began to feel that I had to take care of my studies, I had to get up early to get to class on time. I was not going to have my mom and dad behind me telling me what to do. They had already prepared me enough to know how to defend myself. So I had to realize myself as a mini-adult.
Empecé a notar mis cambios, tanto físico como mental. Al empezar la secundaria (12 años), comencé a sentir deberes sobre mis estudios, ya tenía que velar por salir bien, debía levantarme temprano para llegar a tiempo a clases. No iba a tener a mi papá y mamá detrás de mi diciéndome que hacer. Ya ellos me habían preparado lo suficiente para saber defenderme. Así que tocó, realizarme como una mini adulta.

Later, when I found my place in the UNEY (Universidad Nacional Experimental del Yaracuy) (I was 16 years old), I was happy to have reached this point in my life. I felt that I was going to meet new people, develop a better circle of friends and I can say that this has been a beautiful stage that I have enjoyed. Of course, with my stress about everything. Studying and doing well. Growing professionally, although I tell you that I love my career has been one of the best things that has happened to me in my life, working to continue (it didn't work for me to do both things at the same time, study and work). I had to accept that being a responsible adult had definitely not been as good as it seemed to be; it was here where I started to become an adult.
Ya luego, al encontrar mi cupo en la UNEY (Universidad Nacional Experimental del Yaracuy) (tenía 16 años), me sentí feliz de haber llegado a este punto de mi vida. Sentía que iba a conocer nuevas personas, desarrollar un mejor círculo de amistad y de esto puedo decir que ha sido una etapa hermosa del cual he disfrutado. Claro, con mi estrés por todo. Estudiar y salir bien. Crecer profesionalmente, aunque les digo que amo mi carrera ha sido una de las mejores cosas que me ha pasado en la vida, aunque no me funciono mucho hacer las dos cosas a la vez, estudiar y trabajar. Ya debía aceptar, que ser un adulto responsable definitivamente no había sido tan bueno como parecía ser.; fue aquí donde comencé a convertirme en adulta.

I already had to think about helping out at home, learning to balance my social life, my family life, my studies, my courtship, all at the same time. Thank God I have found a way to relax and not let stress invade me. I have stopped paying so much attention to things that I used to pay so much attention to and that today I look at them and I really realize how childish I was.
Ya tenía que pensar en ayudar en casa, en aprender a equilibrar mi vida social, familiar, mis estudios, mi noviazgo, todo a la vez. Gracias a Dios he encontrado la manera de relajarme y no dejar que el estrés me invada. He dejado de prestarlas tanta atención a cosas que antes les ponía mucho cuidado y que hoy día las observo y realmente me doy cuenta lo súper infantil que era.

On the other hand, I had to be alert to face any situation and know how to solve it. Spending money on necessary things and worrying about it. To give value to the things I bought with my pocket, to cook for myself (although I love when my mommy cooks for me, I love everything she does) and as a last aspect I knew I became an adult when I started saving to buy my own things.
Por su parte, ya debía estar alerta para enfrentar cualquier situación y saber darle solución. Gastar dinero en cosas necesarias y preocuparme por ello. Darle valor a las cosas que compraba con mi bolsillo, cocinarme (aunque amo cuando mi mami me cocina, amo todo lo que hace) y como último aspecto supe que me convertí en adulta cuando comencé ahorrar para comprar mis propias cosas.
