The below character is fictional. I swear to god.
A hive user spent the weekend in full ponder mode where he thought long and hard about his life choices and his long term Hive goals. Long time Hive stalwart @banshee who cares about the blockchain and only wants the best for it had to turn off the TV and any other sound on devices in his house to have a good old think to himself.
The normal posts he published would criticise elements of the blockchain. They were good solid posts and they made some good points but they received disappointing rewards. On the other hand when he praised some of the great works that were currently happening on the blockchain he received plentiful rewards and there were users coming from all sides to give him an upvote. Even @haejin had gave him an upvote and @haejin had been his hero in times long gone since he posted a chart and the token ended up mooning and @banshee had taken his advice and made a bucket load of money.
"Hmmmmmmm" thought banshee to himself.
"Criticism" = "Little rewards"
"Praise" = " Lots of rewards!"
@banshee went out to the kitchen and got a bag of apples to put it all into context. He spent the next half and hour with 6 apples in one hand and 1 in the other. He jotted down a couple of notes , nodded and said "ummmhuh" and took more notes.
After the apples exercise he came to the conclusion that good posts are positive for praising the blockchain and bad posts are bad for criticising the blockchain. He took the pen again and wrote this in his notes with his tongue hanging loosely to the side of his mouth. He loved to solve equations so he wrote his issue in a simple algebra equation
10 criticism posts = 1 praising post
1 praising post equals less hours typing and researching.

Then came the Eureka moment.
"I have been so stupid this past year"
What is the point of doing disruptive post when I can just do constructive posts.

It's the taking part that counts. And remember you are doing what you love and the Community are footing the bill for it so crash as much as you want. No pressure. Some day you will show them all and win the 10,000 euro 1st prize for winning your race class in the WRC. And if you are really lucky you will win another €10,000, for best overall time.

I'm just gonna go back to being the old @banshee and have a bee in my bonnet around the DHF overspending. The people I target have bearly any HP and don't reply anyway. Best just keep doing this. It turns out it does cost something for being nice. @banshee threw the apples away in anger at the 5 downvotes he saw before him.
He could not do this long term. It would be to stressful for him. @banshee pulled out marky's big tool again and started looking at how Hive could give 100k for a tiddlywinks contest in Syria to @mastertiddly who had 15HP. I thought EXACTLY the same thing after I watched the videos and have decided, in the pure, untainted and virginal interest of making bank, to become a virtue of positivity and join the happy clapping brigade.
With this in mind, Im going to create my own DHF proposal to buy a spanking BRAND NEW Group A WRC1 rally car ..... and at even greater cost, buy our Slovenian Colin McRae friend some proper driving lessons.

Lol, man! I have fun reading your satirical pieces. On the "PP" part, I think your character made the "mistake" of adding the hivefest tag, and a number of bigger accounts watch that tag these days.
