There was this tutorial class I attended back then when I was planning to go to the higher institution and during my time there I met this guys that attended the same tutorial as well where we all became friends.
Most of the guys were very funny that it really made the tutorial class very exciting and lively when in class. Despite the funny characters displayed they were also brilliant as well and this however even made it more interesting and fun to learn.
After classes we do go out to play football in streets or probably look for where there is enough space or field to play and this was really fun that I enjoyed every part of it.
There is an airforce base that is very close to where I do attend my tutorial class and despite the closeness I have never entered or passed there before. One faithful day one of the guys suggested that there is a big field in the airforce base where we can play football during weekends and we will be allowed to enter and play football there.
We were all excited and agreed by weekend which was on a Saturday that we all will go there and play real football in a very big and fine pitch lol.
The unexpected scene
Saturday came and we were all prepared to go to the airforce base to play football with our jerseys and boots. The guy that actually told us about the place never told us that the main gate which was where cars do pass was meant for only cars to pass while the small gate beside the big open gate was meant for people to pass.
But when we got close to the wide open gate that look more easier and near to enter than going through the small gate we then decided to follow there without asking questions. The soldiers there noticed our movements but they never uttered a word until we enter and before we know it they stopped us and told us to lie down.
Hey! My body was doing gbi! gbi! !gbi because I have never witness a soldier punishing someone not to talk of me been among victims. They gave us very hard punishment to do where some of my friends were given very little broom to sweep from the first gate to the second gate which was very far from each other while I was given a 2 by 2 wood to cut grass, it was there I knew am in big soup.
My brothers and sisters the way I cut the grass you would think whether it is even possible to believe that wood will cut grass and this really made the soldiers to laugh that they told me to go. Hearing this the way I ran away from that base even Usain bolt cannot catch me 🤣🤣🤣.
