My One And Only Solo Set

Good to see you all again!

This was the set I performed to open my friend's musical performance at the venue where I'm currently hosting my open mic. It's a bit longer than normal, though if you've seen all my other videos, you've probably seen me perform all of these jokes before.

If it seems like it went poorly on the video, that's because it did. There were only handful of people there when I started, and less than half of them were there to watch comedy. I didn't mind, though. It was nice to have the extra time to practice, even if nobody was paying attention.

I'm posting this one on Friday night, to see if it gets more natural eyeballs from my Facebook friends. The Saturday posts don't seem to get their attention for a few days.

I was actually a good little comedian, and went through all of the videos I had from last year, and got them ready for posting. So, there is no excuse for me to miss a weekend. If you think I'm too late getting a new video up, feel free to complain to me, loudly.

That's all for now, gang. Keep an eye on The Comedy Club Community for some written humor, and updates about how life is going.

It's really hard to do these with people just doing whatever behind the scenes, including playing pool, having drinks, etc. Props!

I don't really mind so much. I've got a touch of the autism, so my relationship with the audience is already kinda weird, and I don't really get stage fright.

On the night of the second open mic that I hosted, however, about 50 people came to the bar who were NOT there to see comedy. Talking over that crowd and trying to keep their attention was a real challenge, but I like a challenge.

Yeah, I only hate it, if I can't hear the performance well.
