O gosh! Not a fun of firecrackers, really. In my home country people doesn't really use them that much apart from new years.
But day after New Years eve - ER's are just packed with accidents because of firecrackers misuse. I am glad you are ok, though!
I would leave that 'fun' to the professional pyrotechnicians :)
