As far as the "Gâteau" is concerned, the King got lost in the ghetto and ended up in Germany. Because it's not in the French calorie bomb, but full on in a Black Forest gateau in the middle of southern Germany. But that doesn't matter! The main thing is that he destroyed the gâteau in the ghetto. 😉

😉 In Germany, we call the delicacies that are known as gâteau from our direct French neighbour cake - or (as here for the Black Forest Kirsch) Torte. It originates from the region in Germany where Switzerland, France and Germany are very close to each other.
