Despite the days that absorb my wellbeing,
when the shadow looms and the sun begins to fail,
I will always have a light to look at,
a bright star that invites me to dream.
It's your eyes, it's your laughter,
sailing in my memory, a sweet breeze,
like the dawn that awakens a new awakening,
like a shelter in storms, a port in the sea.
When the wind blows hard, carrying me at random,
and sadness envelops me in its dark disguise,
I remember that look that chases away my sorrow,
a lighthouse that illuminates each of my features, each fleeting flicker.
And in moments of doubt, in the gloom of anguish,
with the touch of your hands the uncertainty dissipates,
colours return to a grey world,
hope blooms, it blooms in you.
