I love that Mookie goes from begging and yelling to smirking and smoking once Ruth is out of view. She cornered him dead to rights and he enjoys sparring with an equal.
I also really enjoy panel 3 because I think that is one of the most quintessentially Theresa-drawn expressions when it comes to exasperated individuals haha. I see that face popping up in her other works.
