Introduction to this weeks page

The chase is on, and the converted Morris J, Mary, shows what she is made of. I stole the idea of a veteran car suddenly being able to do surprisingly high speed from this old Danish spy-spoof film where a Citroên 2cv has been refitted with a v8 motor as a joke on the 007 cars. I also had some inspiration from the image below from this post by @slobberchops.

As soon as I saw the image I knew that I had to fit a car into that hole in the wall.

Happy reading.

I received my book today! It arrived in excellent condition and is quite beautiful. Thank you too for the signed print, what a lovely surprise.

Wonderful! I am always in doubt if they even reach the destination, but I guess the good old post system still works.

Nice to see you using 'Bugger', that's very English... and none of this KMPH stuff, it's miles here.. though 125MPH on a small road is pushing things... as for holes... well....

He, yes I had to widen it a bit. I imagine that the American extrapolate a bit on the speed. But they must have been going fast to give them the slip.

WOT??
No translation required?

Should this be classed as Urbex? 😃

Well..........
It’s more Urbex than some stuff posted there!

Hehe, true!

I'm liking the sound effects, perspective and the rhymes are good too. I enjoy finding rhymes for my songs.

Car chases are a different thing these days with all the cameras plus drones. Much harder to 'give the rozzers the slip'.

!BEER

Yes, I have made quite a few of Vincent's poems by now. It is actually quite funny.

Coming up with rhymes in a different language is a real challenge. I find it hard enough in my native tongue.

!ENGAGE 20

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Is the rabbit named "Lola"?

Actually I had this idea that I had heard it used about WWII, and looking it up I found this:
