One of the best things about diving into the comic book industry, both as a creator and a network marketer, has been working with some amazing people.

Babes, Gore and Dinosaurs

Dustin Brunell, Greed, comics, indie comics, comic books, The Listener

Rikki a retired mercenary just wants to live a quiet life running his club but old debts and new troubles keep pulling him back in.

Babes, Gore and Dinosaurs...What's in a title? This is a futuristic metropolis inhabited by human beings and Saureans (anthropomorphic dinosaurs) - a world of intrigue and skullduggery peppered with beautiful female leads and big battles aplenty.

Some have compared it to a blend of Blade Runner and Dinosaurs. Whether it's one of the girls dancing or someone getting disemboweled, there is something captivating in every panel .

Blayden Hunter and David Ocampo bring life to our tale in a way that seemed as if they surgically pulled panels from my own psyche.

Campaign ends on September 10, 2021

GREED

Dustin Brunell, Greed, comics, indie comics, comic books, The Listener

Greed is a world of Gods and Demons, tales of theology and campfire stories alike.

Welcome to a story that takes place in a small town, a small town with a lot going on below the surface. Everything you've heard about religion is true with the exception being they all exist in another realm adjacent to our own.

A realm where Hades and Lucifer share Hell, a place where Christ, Odin and Zeus debate your fate. Lesser gods and demons traverse a landscape that is identical to our own. A thin veil separates us from them.

Enter Oz a ten year old suburban youth who just happens to meet his Monster Under the Bed, Kayde. How is this young man able to see the spiritual realm and why is there a monster under his bed asking him for help? We'll be delving into that and much more as characters new and old make their appearances in this tie-in series to the immensely popular series The Listener.

The Listener

Dustin Brunell, Greed, comics, indie comics, comic books, The Listener

Let's begin with the Death of a man...
That's always a good way to tell a story, right? Dustin's great uncle Les died not long ago. He was a quiet man, but when he spoke, Dustin listened.

Les frequently talked about being a Native American soldier and the difficulties he faced during World War II. There were no regret in his stories, but there was horror in his words.

The Listener follows Aditsan "Adi" - a Native American who is the primary protagonist. Many of Adi's experiences are ones that actually occurred to my uncle, as well as other vets.

RAGIN' With... Dustin Brunell

Interview with Dustin Brunell | July 9, 2021

In The Listener, Dustin takes those stories and weaves a world of horror based around myths and religion. What would it be like if the spiritual realm was literally only separated by a thin veil from the living? What if you woke up one day and could see the dead? Gods? Demons? There's a bit of truth in every scary story you've heard throughout your life.
