Ah, remember the olden days? That golden time back before smartphones were around to capture your every embarrassing moment? Makes me feel bad for the younger Millenials and Gen Z kids. Those poor kids just don't know what they're missing!
Anyhoo, much of the inspiration for today's comic strip comes from that classic comic series 'Bloom County' by Berke Breathed. Take a gander below...
Ash may not have the short stature or humongous schnoz that Opus the Penguin has, but he certainly shares the same innocent naivete!
Until next time, this is your friendly neighborhood 'stripper' bidding you "adieu"! 😁

Much of my life was unphotographed as you had to use those few frames of film carefully. I think I got my first digital camera about 25 years ago and that's less than half my life!

Yeah, I think I got my first digital camera around 2001. I actually never owned a good film camera before that... I was young and mostly broke, so I always used those cheap one-time-use cameras (yet another of those things most kids and young adults don't remember! 😏).
I mostly had basic cameras. Never expected that film would mostly die out in my lifetime, but it's had a comeback like vinyl records amongst some crowds.

A fellow comics connoisseur, I see. Bloom County was weird in all the best ways.
Oh yes, I grew up on Bloom County! I was just a kid in the 80's so I didn't always fully understand some of the references and jokes, but I loved it all the same. And when I reread them as an adult, I appreciated it even more! 😁
I'm probably a hair younger than you. I remember Outland (the spinoff story with Opus & co. for those unaware) but was more interested in Calvin & Hobbes.
I eventually found the collected comics in my parents' bookshelves and expanded it on my own from bookstore sales.
