Maybe I should stop trying to draw heads at that upward angle. There's a digital artist on Youtube who's tutorials I watch and he says even professional artists find this daunting. The upward angle three quarters view is like the Final Boss Fight of drawing head portraits.

Oh well, couldn't be helped. Iron Maiden grabbed her by the hair. I had no control over her actions, it's reality TV, baby!

With no powers, Iron Maiden could easily crush Moon Girl's skull in about 1 second, so let's see how she gets out of this mess.

Boilerplate:

The Real Superheroines of Hive Valley is a webcomic about a reality television show following the lives of seven public domain superheroines that all live together in the same mansion in the elite community of Hive Valley.

You can read the series from the beginning ---> HERE.

I think people are generally hard to draw, but then you have a lot of experience. The animated sequence looked brutal.

!LOLZ

I've spent so much time practicing drawing people that I have a hard time drawing not-people. Cars, guns, motorcycles, trains, room interiors...

I think just about every time I've had characters look up I drew them looking up in a side profile. Getting the jawline to look right when at any partial-front or full-front-facing angle is just a pain. Even way back in art class when there was a model it still wasn't much easier. But hey sometimes you gotta try for the hard stuff!

That's why I like using the Interview Cam, where they just talk straight at the viewer for a panel or two. Time to have more interviews!
