Next on the membership roster of The Legion of Super-Heroes is... Superboy! As far as I know, this was how the Legion was introduced to the DC Universe. Superboy (young Clark Kent) went forward in time to the 30th century and joined them for a while. I don't know much beyond that.
I do know that the three founding members did make an appearance in the TV series Smallville.
I don't think I need to mention his powers and whatnot.
