I've done plenty of flying. Some has been when our little kid was doing the wailing. They are not so bad as they grow up and will just amuse themselves with a movie or a game.
I have seen some guy kick off and get arrested when we arrived. I expect he was drunk.

Our kids are old enough now that they can entertain themselves on the plane without trouble, thank goodness. But when they were little it was definitely challenging. Though like you, I've seen adult passengers behave much worse, both drunk and sober. Which is sad... when an adult ends up being far more obnoxious & disruptive than a four-year-old on a sugar rush from all the free airplane sodas, you know it's bad!
