Politics is far too 'interesting' these days. Anyone might think that foreign powers are meddling to divide us. We've had some of the that in the UK, but it's settled down a bit now. Got a nice, boring Prime Minister.

I don't know enough on Starmer to have an educated opinion. But yeah, I'll take boring and at least semi-competent over likeable and clueless. Unfortunately for us Yanks, the skillset needed to GET ELECTED is very different from the skillset needed to GOVERN, and very few people do both well...
Your politics is more 'showbiz'. I was hoping more Republicans would reject what Trump has done to their party. It's something like how right wing our Convervatives got since Brexit, but possibly worse. At least they got rid of Boris Johnson.
