Uno de mis sueños más grandes siempre ha sido poder viajar por el mundo. Mi amor por la comida me ha llevado a investigar acerca de los postres, los desayunos y platos tradicionales en diversas regiones del mundo. Saber que hay una diversidad de platos, construcciones y paisajes pertenecientes a cultural muy ajenas a la mía, allá afuera, ha hecho que cada vez añada nuevas ciudades muy diferentes entre sí, a mí lista de seños por cumplir. Actualmente no he tenido la oportunidad de visitar tanto como quisiera, pero agradezco la oportunidad de en listar las ciudades que más han captado mi atención, pues así siento que otro de mis sueños está aún más cerca.

One of my biggest dreams has always been to be able to travel the world. My love for food has led me to investigate traditional desserts, breakfasts and dishes in various regions of the world. Knowing that there is a diversity of dishes, constructions and landscapes belonging to a culture very alien to mine, out there, has made me add new countries, very different from each other, to my list of wishes to fulfill. Currently I have not had the opportunity to visit as much as I would like, but I appreciate the opportunity to list the countries that have captured my attention the most, because I feel that another of my dreams is even closer.

Italia - Roma

Para empezar, quiero hablar acerca del primer país que llegó a mi mente al leer el tema del concurso. El italiano, como idioma, siempre me ha parecido hermoso. La verdad es que no recuerdo en qué momento decidí aprender italiano, o en qué momento la cultura de este país me enamoró. Sin embargo, si sé que quiero perderme en las calles romanas visitar la Torre de pisa o el Coliseo romano, comer platos tradicionales desconocidos para mí, pasear por Sicilia o visitar la catedral de Milán. Es un país muy hermoso, rico, y a pesar de que todos lo conocemos, siento que tiene muchísimo más que ofrecer entre las calles de sus ciudades y pequeños pueblos.

To begin with, I want to talk about the first country that came to mind when reading the contest topic. Italian, as a language, has always seemed beautiful to me. The truth is that I don't remember when I decided to learn Italian, or when the culture of this country made me fall in love. However, if I know that I want to get lost in the Roman streets visit the Tower of Pisa or the Roman Colosseum, eat traditional dishes unknown to me, walk through Sicily or visit the Cathedral of Milan. It is a very beautiful, rich country, and although we all know it, I feel that it has much more to offer between the streets of its cities and small towns.

Grecia - Oya

Además de toda la historia que nos ha llegado de la Antigua Grecia, sus pequeñas ciudades , tal como Oya , me parecen destinos paradisiacos llenos de muchas cosas por conocer. He leído bastante acerca de Su gastronomía y me causa gran curiosidad la mezcla de sabores en la que resultan sus platos típicos y dulces! No sé nada acerca del idioma griego, pero precisamente por esta presencia de toda la mitología en nuestra propia cultura, que de alguna forma u otra nos ha configurado, quisiera conocer el idioma en el que se formaron estas ideas!

In addition to all the history that has come down to us from Ancient Greece, its small cities, such as Oya, seem like paradisiacal destinations full of many things to know. I have read a lot about its gastronomy and I am very curious about the mixture of flavors in which its typical dishes and sweets result! I don't know anything about the Greek language, but precisely because of this presence of all mythology in our own culture, which in some way or another has shaped us, I would like to know the language in which these ideas were formed!

Costa rica - san jose

Yo empecé a conocer un poco de este país gracias a muchas personas que han viajado, y lo quisiera conocer más allá de la pantalla; me parece un muy buen destino para pasar unas vacaciones y llama mi atención el cuidado y amor por la naturaleza que tiene su gente. Conocer su capital san José y disfrutar del Parque Central, el espacio más antiguo de esta… pero sobretodo, visitar playas paradisíacas tal como la Isla Tortuga, Santa Teresa es lo que motiva mi amor por este país! Además, haciéndolo mientras conoces su gastronomía y postres que por lo que he oído son una delicia, debe ser todo un sueño!

I started to know a little about this country thanks to many people who have traveled, and I would like to know it beyond the screen; I think it is a very good destination to spend a vacation and the care and love for nature that its people have draws my attention. Knowing its capital, San José and enjoying Central Park, the oldest area in this area ... but above all, visiting paradisiacal beaches such as Tortuga Island, Santa Teresa is what motivates my love for this country! Also, doing it while you get to know its gastronomy and desserts, which from what I've heard are a delight, must be a dream!

Brasil - Rio de Janeiro

Cuando yo era chiquita mis padres solían poner un CD de Sergio Méndez, esto hizo que me enamorara de la música de un país tan hermoso como Brasil. Así, me fui adentrando en la cultura, idioma y tradiciones de un país tan rico y especial, que guarda los mejores secretos del Amazonas! También debo admitir que amaría comer sus platos tradicionales, recorrer coloridas ciudades tal como Río de Janeiro, conocer un poco de sus monumentos y sus paradisiacas playas!

When I was little my parents used to put on a Sergio Méndez CD, this made me fall in love with the music of a country as beautiful as Brazil. Thus, I was delving into the culture, language and traditions of such a rich and special country, which keeps the best secrets of the Amazon! I must also admit that I would love to eat their traditional dishes, visit colorful cities such as Rio de Janeiro, know a little about its monuments and its paradisiacal beaches!

Cuba - La Habana

La razón por la que quiero ir a este hermosa y nostálgica ciudad es principalmente porque toda mi familia paterna se encuentra ahí, nunca los he visto en persona y la única manera en la que me he comunicado con ellos ha sido virtualmente, y mi mayor deseo es conocerlos, aprender un poco de su cultura, sus costumbres y escuchar acerca del pasado de mi papá.

The reason I want to go to this beautiful and nostalgic country is mainly because all my paternal family is there, I have never seen them in person and the only way I have communicated with them has been virtually, and my greatest wish It is knowing them, learning a little about their culture, their customs and hearing about my dad's past.
