Libélula azul
Libélula azul (Orthetrum cancellatum) es una especie de odonato anisóptero. Es una de las libélulas más extendidas que llegan a medir de 32 a 35 mm.Se encuentra en manantiales, acequias, embalses o sus zonas aledañas en toda Europa exceptuando el norte de Gran Bretaña y Escandinavia, y llega a zonas de Mongolia y China en Asia..Los ojos de las libélulas son los más grandes y también de los más precisos de todos los insectos del planeta, pues pueden ver 360º de su entorno sin necesidad de girar la cabeza.

Mantis Flor Espinosa
Esta mantis muestra un color blanco con rayas naranjas y verdes. Cuando tienen forma de ninfas suelen tener una mancha naranja en el dorso del abdomen que al imitar un ojo ahuyenta a depredadores. La coloración de los ojos es morado, esto depende en gran medida de las condiciones de luz, ya que puede variar de lila a morado profundo. En los adultos las alas presentan un remolino con un matiz de amarillo con negro, que también imita a un ojo. Si una mantis es amenazada, esta alzará las alas para mostrar los dos ojos. Las alas más delgadas se encuentran por debajo de las alas superiores prevaleciendo el color amarillo brillante. Al nacer las ninfas son de color negro. Siguen siendo negruzcas hasta el estadío L3. Después de ese período predomina el naranja con manchas rosas, y se van tornando más y más blancas con cada muda. Las hembras de esta especie son más grandes, pesadas y anchas que los machos. Los adultos miden de 4 a 5 cm.

Tal y como avanza su nombre, posee una gran variedad de colores distribuidos por todo su cuerpo como el azul, el rojo, el negro, el amarillo o el naranja. Las hembras miden unos 35 milímetros y los machos un poco menos.
The rainbow or painted grasshopper (Dactylotum bicolor) is a curious species of arthropod that can be found in North America. Bocydium globulare
El Bocydium globulare habita en los árboles de las selvas brasileñas y aunque nos sorprenda su aspecto, tan solo mide 4 mm. Una de las características que más llaman la atención de este insecto es la morfología de su cabeza que se eleva en vertical con 4 bolitas como protagonistas, como si de una curiosa escultura se tratase. La forma de su cabeza le ayuda a mimetizarse con el entorno.
