Cuando leí la propuesta, me emocionó bastante. Hace unas cuantas semanas vi un programa en la televisión sobre caballos y una de las cosas que me llamó la atención fue que había lugares destinados a la práctica de la equinoterapia. Sabía sobre los beneficios de tener un perro como mascota, por ejemplo, pero de la existencia de una terapia con caballos para la asistencia de personas con algún padecimiento, jamás. Luego pensé ¡que hasta los pajaritos que se paran en mi ventana mejoran mi ánimo! ¿Cómo no iba a esperarlo? Los animales tienen mucho mucho que ofrecernos.
When I read the proposal, I was quite excited. A few weeks ago I saw a program on TV about horses and one of the things that caught my attention was that there were places destined for the practice of equine therapy. I knew about the benefits of having a dog as a pet, for example, but about the existence of a therapy with horses for the assistance of people with some ailment, never. Then I thought that even the little birds that stand in my window improve my mood! How could I not expect it? Animals have a lot to offer us.
Dicho esto, doy inicio a mi top 5 de animales favoritos.
That said, I'm starting my top 5 favorite animals.
- Perros
El mejor amigo del hombre. Me encantan los perros. Siento que son animales muy inteligentes, lindos y fieles. Soy la típica persona que en la película se puede morir el protagonista y el perro y yo voy a llorar por el perro. Nada más lindo que una colita agitada cuando llegas de un arduo día de trabajo, o una mirada de consuelo de su parte cuando te sientes triste.
Aprovecho para recordar que es mejor adoptar perritos que comprarlos. Vamos a darles un nuevo hogar de forma justa 🤗.
- Dogs
Man's best friend. I love dogs. I feel that they are very intelligent, cute and faithful animals. I'm the typical person who in the movie where the main character and the dog die I'm going to cry for the dog. Nothing is nicer than a wagging tail when you come home from a hard day's work, or a comforting look from him when you feel sad.
I take this opportunity to remind you that it is better to adopt puppies than to buy them. Let's give them a new home in a fair way 🤗.

Retomemos a los mencionados inicialmente. Los caballos me parecen hermosos físicamente, quizá por su apariencia de firmeza y fuerza. Pero también los considero bastante sentimentales. Incluso en el programa que les comenté al principio contaban la historia de una yegua que durante una época de guerra salvó la vida de varios soldados. Creo que también son un gran ejemplo de fidelidad.
- Horses
Let's go back to those mentioned initially. I find horses physically beautiful, perhaps because of their appearance of firmness and strength. But I also consider them quite sentimental. Even in the program I told you about at the beginning, they told the story of a mare that during a time of war saved the lives of several soldiers. I think they are also a great example of loyalty.

Esta categoría es muy general ya que no tengo un ave específica favorita, solo sé que soy fanática de ver a los pajaritos más chiquitos volar y también apreciar a las guacamayas que siempre alegran nuestro cielo en Caracas (a pesar de que sean un poco ruidosas). Todo esto lo asocio con la libertad. ¿A quien no le gustaría volar bien alto y apreciar toda una vista espectacular?
- Birds
This category is very general since I don't have a specific favorite bird, I just know that I am a fan of watching the little birds fly and also appreciate the macaws that always brighten up our sky in Caracas (even though they are a little noisy). Who wouldn't like to fly high and appreciate a spectacular view?

Terminando la lista con las más bonitas. Estos animalitos pueden asociarse con elegancia y delicadeza. Van volando y alegrándonos con sus colores fascinantes y hay tanta variedad que es difícil decidir qué tipo es más bonito.

Finishing the list with the most beautiful ones. These little animals can be associated with elegance and delicacy. They fly and cheer us up with their fascinating colors and there is so much variety that it is difficult to decide which type is prettier.

En fin, estos animales sin duda me hacen sonreír cuando los veo o pienso en ellos, y los asocio con cosas positivas.
Anyway, these animals certainly make me smile when I see them or think about them, and I associate them with positive things.
Hace unos días rodaba por las redes sociales el caso de grupos de personas que se dedicaban a difundir vídeos sobre maltrato animal. Yo la verdad no entiendo cómo pueden existir personas así. Personalmente no puedo ni ver ese tipo de vídeos. Creo que así como los animales nos aportan tantas cosas positivas a nuestra salud, nosotros debemos devolverles todo ese amor que nos dan, especialmente si decidimos hacernos responsables por ellos.
A few days ago, the case of groups of people who were dedicated to spreading videos about animal abuse was being publicized on social networks. I really don't understand how people like that can exist. Personally, I can't even watch these kinds of videos. I think that just as animals bring so many positive things to our health, we should give them back all that love they give us, especially if we decide to take responsibility for them.

Yo tampoco comprendo cómo pueden existir personas que le hagan daño a los animales, me da mucha tristeza y rabia eso.
