Hola amigos de esta comunidad #Greenzone, les damos la bienvenida a la curación de las dos semanas últimas. Es grato este camino que recorremos junto a ustedes. Crear una comunidad en Hive parece, en teoría, un sueño alcanzable; ciertamente es un proceso complejo que luego de hacerlo parece fácil.
Imaginamos a #Greenzone, @hive-164923 como un espacio donde personas con intereses comunes comparten ideas, debaten con respeto y se apoyan. Suena maravilloso, ¿verdad?. Pues #Greenzone ha superado nuestras expectativas.
La materialización de ese sueño está llena de tropiezos, de esos hemos tenido varios, pero hemos saltado cada obstáculo, creciendo ante la adversidad. No lo hemos hecho solos, de hecho ha sido una obra de grupo porque contar con 74 publicadores y decenas de post, ratifica nuestro deseo de contar con un espacio de pensamiento plural.
El primer obstáculo que tememos es la ilusión de la audiencia. Abres una comunidad, publicas las reglas y esperas. Cual no sería la sorpresa al ver a tantos hivers publicar sus post eligiendo la comunidad o como parte de las iniciativas de @maylink, @restaurador, @yuraimatc e @iriswrite. La respuesta y apoyo con hp y recompensas a nuestro usuario @hive-164923 ha sido abrumadora.
No bastó con crear la comunidad; le hicimos saber a los amigos hivers que aquí está su hogar y en el caso (solo dos), que han incumplido las normas se les ha señalado con amabilidad, porque contar con una comunidad diversa no quiere decir que sea de menos rigor.
Desde el primer momento tuvimos miembros activos que se han mantenido y esa confianza se ha traducido en que muchos se suman al trail de curación. Muchos, la mayoría son bien votados, otros pasan ese detalle por alto porque los sostiene el compromiso con la comunidad. Y de alguna manera hemos aprendido que el buen contenido será apreciado y curado desde cualquier comunidad.
Convencer para que inviertan su tiempo y energía en un espacio nuevo, es como pedirle a la gente que confíen con los ojos cerrados, pero agradecemos a todos los que nos honran con sus magníficos textos.

Luego viene el desafío de la moderación. No es trabajo sencillo mantener la calidad cuando el crecimiento empieza a llegar. Sin un equipo dedicado, el spam y los contenidos irrelevantes pueden inundar la comunidad, ahogando las voces valiosas y eso no lo podemos permintir. Moderar no es solo eliminar lo malo; es curar lo bueno, destacarlo y animar a quienes contribuyen con esfuerzo. Es un trabajo invisible y agotador que a menudo recae en muy pocas personas.

El mayor tropiezo, quizás, es la sostenibilidad y para ello trabajamos. Hive funciona con recompensas, y la distribución de esas recompensas puede generar tensiones por lo que tratamos de recompensar el mejor contenido dentro y fuera de la comunidad, atendiendo el Poder de Voto de la Comunidad.

Construir una comunidad en Hive es un desafío, nos nutrimos de la experiencia de otras comunidades con años de trabajo. Requiere paciencia, riego constante y la aceptación de que no todos los detalles serán acertados. El verdadero éxito de #Greenzone - @hive-164923, no está en los recursos, sino en haber creado, pese a todos los tropiezos, un pequeño rincón donde todos encuentren vida y función.

Sustaining Creation
Hello friends of this #Greenzone community, we welcome you to the curation of the last two weeks. This journey we are taking together is a pleasant one. Creating a community on Hive seems, in theory, like an achievable dream; it is certainly a complex process that, once done, seems easy.
We envision #Greenzone, @hive-164923, as a space where people with common interests share ideas, debate respectfully, and support each other. It sounds wonderful, right? Well, #Greenzone has exceeded our expectations.
The materialization of that dream is full of stumbles, we have had several of those, but we have overcome every obstacle, growing in the face of adversity. We have not done it alone; in fact, it has been a group effort because having 74 publishers and dozens of posts confirms our desire to have a space for plural thinking.
The first obstacle we fear is the illusion of the audience. You open a community, publish the rules, and wait. What a surprise it was to see so many hivers publishing their posts choosing the community or as part of the initiatives by @maylink, @restaurador, @yuraimatc, and @iriswrite. The response and support with HP and rewards to our user @hive-164923 has been overwhelming.
Creating the community was not enough; we let our hiver friends know that this is their home, and in the case (only two) where the rules were broken, they were pointed out kindly, because having a diverse community does not mean it has less rigor.
From the first moment, we had active members who have remained, and that trust has translated into many joining the curation trail. Many, the majority, are well voted, others overlook that detail because they are sustained by their commitment to the community. And in some way, we have learned that good content will be appreciated and curated from any community.
Convincing people to invest their time and energy in a new space is like asking them to trust with their eyes closed, but we thank all those who honor us with their magnificent texts.

Then comes the challenge of moderation. It is not an easy task to maintain quality when growth begins to arrive. Without a dedicated team, spam and irrelevant content can flood the community, drowning out valuable voices, and that we cannot allow. Moderating is not just about removing the bad; it is about curating the good, highlighting it, and encouraging those who contribute with effort. It is an invisible and exhausting job that often falls on very few people. We highlight the post by@marabuzal for its coherent, profound, respectful content, treated with delicacy and cohesion in every line. He receives as a prize 100 Ecency Points.

The biggest stumble, perhaps, is sustainability, and for that we work. Hive works with rewards, and the distribution of those rewards can generate tensions, which is why we try to reward the best content inside and outside the community, considering the Community Voting Power.
Any decision we make will leave someone dissatisfied, therefore, we have the responsibility to be fair, adhering to the rules and the criteria of our collaborators.

Building a community on Hive is a challenge; we nourish ourselves from the experience of other communities with years of work. It requires patience, constant watering, and the acceptance that not every detail will be right.
